LP/Let's Plays are playthroughs of games (online, console, ect) with commentary that is often for the sake of comedy, but can also be serious as well. Just to put that out there in case you don't know what a LP is.

Stuff like Achievement Hunter, Game Grumps, ChaoticMonki, Pewdiepie, Two Best Friends, ect.

I mostly switch between TheSw1tcher (Two best friends) and Letsplay (Achievement Hunter), but I'd like to know if there's any other group/person you guys like to watch.

Like, one of my buddies suggested Yogscast, but I don't know where to start with them, hehe...

During last summer's exam period I got absolutely ADDICTED to Rooster Teeth/Achievement Hunter in any form I could possibly get. Those dumb idiots got me through my part time job/full time student/trying to juggle a social life/and having no idea where it was all headed stress :P

To be honest, I'm not even that big of a gamer, I just fell in love with Ryan Haywood. There, I said it. But now I can play Minecraft better than my kid brother because I've seen every single Let's Play those guys have ever done in it.

My boy and his housemate watch GameGrumps all the time though, and while I have no idea who is who, they're my honorary seconds.

I like watching them, but I don't have any particular favorite Youtuber. From what I've seen the popular ones make jokes/try to be funny and I'd rather focus on the gameplay. I'm may be wrong though.

Aaah, I should really check them out instead of just going by what I see on the internet.

@ Peppermint YES YES YES dude I swear watching LPs is one of my favorite things, I'm glad someone made a topic about this. I'm yet to get into Achievement Hunter (no idea where to start from), but I love Cry/ChaoticMonki's stuff, he is my forever favorite and everything I've ever wanted in a LPer. I think the first playthrough I watched by him was Limbo or Ao Oni, his channel was still small back then; it makes me happy that he is now much better known, but even more to see that he stayed true to himself and to his LP style. Actually, @ Appalachia: if you are into LPers that focus on gameplay and really get immersed in the story of the game instead of just trying to be funny, I can't recommend him enough.

Oh and, I recently started watching Markiplier (thanks to his hilarious Five Nights At Freddy's LP), really enjoying him too!

YES, i like watching let's plays a lot more than playing games myself. my absolute favorite is cr1tikal, although he doesn't play entire games like a typical lper. after him i love markiplier, cry, pewdiepie, and nova. occasionally i watch cinnamontoastken but he's a little too assholish for me most of the time.

i've been watching LPs for so long now... :V i've watched and grown out of a lot of LPers; the yogscast, the creatures, game grumps and sometimes cry. tho my favs are jerma985 & star_

Markiplier - 'cause I'm too chicken and lazy to play Slenderman games

Absolutely love Achievement Hunter/Rooster Teeth (like seriously, the entire company, love 'em). I'm pretty picky when it comes to a lot of LPers but they're my favourites. I used to love Game Grumps and then I sort of stopped when one of them was replaced, but I've been kind of getting back into watching their stuff. It's just wicked frustrating to see people who play lots of games act like they have no clue what to do - you'd think they'd pay more attention to the instructions after being criticized for it for this long! Cr1tikal is amazing and his weird deadpan sense of humour never fails to make me laugh. Markiplier is okay, I know a lot of people that like him, and he's going to Rooster Teeth's convention next year so for the hell of it I may go and see him :)

But yeah I mostly tune into Achievement Hunter LPs and watch nearly everything else the company puts out while I'm at it c:

nnYes! I absolutely love Achievent Hunter. Their GTA5 lets plays make me cry from laughing so hard. I used to watch pewdiepie back when he had 50k subs but I stopped after he got to like 10 million. Markiplier is funny also! But Achievemnt Hunter/Roosterteeth is by far my favorite channel to watch, everyone is hilarious and they all have different personalities it's quite refreshing to watch. n[gavin screaming]

I love playing games and actually LPs got me into actually buying horror games! I hate jump scares, but I loooove creepy games, or ones where you get chased.

Critikal's deadpan humor gives me life. 8'D I still adore game grumps, but I do get how it's frustrating. They want instructions to be intuitive when you can just scan the controls/rules for, like, a minute.

Bwaha, my favorite is when jack or/and geoff lose their shit laughing or when ryan and gavin start arguing about things like statistics. (fuckin coin toss man)

I try to like Markiplier, because he seems like a good guy, but sometimes his reactions are a bit much. xD But I can't bring myself to hate the guy, he's pretty awesome.

My daughter has become a big fan of Markiplier, and she also watches Kikoskia and Toegoff.

I've been watching LP's for a looong time know, lately it's been Dookieshed(although their let's play content is going to be on a new channel soon) and Scykoh. I sometimes watch the videos Marriland puts out too. I love watching people play games I love or games I'd like to play, but don't have a way to get.

I've been loving Ten Little Roosters more than strictly necessary because a certain Mad King is in it. I thought he'd be one of the first to go too, and now look where we are.

I love watching lets plays - especially those of story-heavy games, my favorite english-speaking ones are SSoHPKC and just recently Markiplier (I also watch PewDiePie, Game Grumps and Rooster Teeth occasionally/barely). Beside them I mostly watch let's player from my native language (german) though, it feels more personal.

Yeah! The controls are always laid out in the most obvious and easiest fashion but they sort of gloss over everything and maybe are liiittle too critical over things that aren't even a problem. Arin definitely fits the 'Grump' title in the past few videos I've seen (Sonic games aren't even that bad but he sure makes them out to be!)

I hadn't pinned him as my survivor but I wish I could go back and change it because I want him to live! ;_; I've had the victims right every week (and the weapon right three weeks in a row) and I just do not want him to die. And thank you <3

Yogscast is my absolute favorite! I just played a game with them on a livestream today.

I've been watching a lot of Markiplier lately. His sudden loud screams go really well with me staying up all night doing technical drawings. He's also really attractive and I thoroughly enjoy looking at his face. I'm subscribed to Cryaotic as well because Cry Reads is the best and possibly sexiest thing that's happened to creepy fiction. And when he does drunk gameplays, it's magic.

Oooh okay if you wanna start with the Yogscast, I suggest Shadow of Israphael. It's just Simon and Lewis [as well as some NPC like characters] but it gives you a feel for their comedy! After that I'd say slowly branch out if you like them! They all have their own littler series in Minecraft and they're all really different in how they play! But I really like them, they're a fn group.

As for ones I watch! I love Achievement Hunter! They're probably one of the all time faves [-waves a tiny team Gents flag-], I also really love Cry, Pewds, Markiplier, CinnamonToastKen, The Creatures, Slyfox, GameGrumps, Vinesauce, and every now and then Yahtzee will do let's drown out which is him mostly rambling with a guest while they try to muddle through a video game :3

....that's a really long list whoops.

Scykoh is really cool! I heard about him just by chance through a suggested video or something like that and loved his glitching series!

Oooooh my god my brother showed me Germa and Star and I love them. My favorite video of Star's though is the Sweet Genius one xD
