...So I've been here for four years and somehow never managed to create characters and stories for any of my pets. But I was finally inspired to use my loyalty token for a pet name change and dive into working on this pet!~

I'm viewing on my phone so I'm not sure if the image resolution for the background is too big for some resolutions or not big enough (empty black area) for others. But from what I can make of it, you need to make html and body's background-color to be a darker color as the contrast between the black and dark green is too jarring. The story is pretty nice ^^ (if you want, you could play with the text in or whatever the story div is and give it a glow using "text-shadow: .2 .2 em " or if that doesn't work, search css glow text on google)

that's what I meant about different screen resolutions. I am viewing on my phone atm but the background color you have set to white/ so I suggest you change that....
