I've found websites that can turn an image into a pattern, but sadly, I fail at art. I had a fun idea for a cross-stitch project and frankly, I'm not the best person for the job when it comes to translating that idea into a digital image. And I definitely need a pattern!

That's where you come in! If you've never designed a cross-stitch pattern before, that's fine! Pixel art is relatively similar. All I need is a relatively uncomplicated image file. If you have designed one before, feel free to go nuts with symbols and stuff.

I've never attempted a pixeling project on a bigger scale before, but I could give it a go? I doodled this up; is that something what like you're looking for? If it is, I could definitely continue! (And do it in pixels, of course.) If it's not quite what you want, that's fine. c:

I'd love to have you continue in pixel form, if you're willing! There are a few constraints -- most importantly size, but also number of colours used. I'm not sure what fabric count -- namely, the number of available stitches per inch -- I'll be using, so the size is mostly up to you!

As for size, I'll try not to make it too massive - would the size that it is now (808x308) be alright, or would you prefer smaller or larger? Sorry for all the questions, aha, I've never done this before and I just want to be sure I get it right!

As for colours, I think I'd like the normal text to just be standard black. The icy stuff in... er... icy... colours? I tried to draw an ice cube in Paint and ended up with a weird gray cube, so I obviously don't know how to colour ice .__. And then red for the actual drivey-truck part, maybe a beige for the cargo stuff, with a darker red text for 'mother truckers'?

And no worries about the questions! I've never commissioned anything like this before either, so it's a learning experience on this end too, hehe.

I'll hopefully get around to this this weekend - I've got work solidly until Saturday, but then I'm free the whole weekend so I should be able to sit down and get this done in a few hours. The first thing I'm noticing is that, sadly, it definitely needs to be scaled down :( Like... a lot... I'm realizing now that if I do use the one pixel = one stitch that I had hoped I could use, then I can't really go over more than about 150 pixels wide/long, which is less than a quarter the size. Actually, 100 is more realistic... 150 is pushing it __

Is it still doable on that small a scale? :( I'm so sorry that I miscalculated by so much!

Oh! Ah, well, I can definitely try! Pixels don't resize well but I'll try that first, and if that doesn't work then I can try it again on a much smaller scale. There's going to be a fair amount of detail lost when I go smaller, though, is that alright?

Oh, definitely. Sadly, losing detail is actually a plus, because otherwise I'd be looking at hundreds of thousands of stitches D:
