ugh, I hate this; I want to play it so badly and can't.

I feel the same way about Pokemon Stadium 2. What I wouldn't give to play that game again :( Really wish I hadn't given up my beloved 64. UGH. What was I thinking.

My aunt's friend stole my N64 and now refuses to give it back. 8| I also sort of stupidly let my cousin borrow my Paper Mario game and he ended up "losing" it.

I stupidly sold my N64 and games to my cousin because I was 12 and dumb and desperately needed the cash for a gamecube. Plus I figured he'd keep it and I'd be able to play it sometimes. Nope. He lost the cords, the controller, everything. Cousins are good at losing crap apparently.

I told my aunt to kick her friend in the face and get it back so hopefully the last 3+ years of me telling her to do so won't go all that much to waste. 8C

Ouch x___o If it makes you feel better, my cousin managed to delete my fully finished file of Ocarina of Time before. I was pissed.

Oh geeze man. THAT IS ROUGH. This doesn't even compare to losing OoT but my cousin (same cousin mind you) deleted my file of 50+ hours of FF-X. When I found out I legit cried inconsolably for about 15 mins ahaha,,,,pretty pathetic I know.

So glad I've refused to give up m N64, still have all my old games to play if nostalgia ever strikes. Never got to play any Mario games on the N64 though, as while it apparently shaped the childhood of many, it was seriously lacking in mine.

I knoooowwwww ;________; and now I'm remembering how much of my childhood I spent on that thing playing Super Mario 64, Ocarina of Time, Mario Kart, Glover (I LOVED GLOVER SO MUCH DGJKDFL;G;DKSFG UGH), Chameleon Twist 2, and Paper Mario (what little time I had it, only enough to finish it before it got taken it seems).

I still have my original Gameboy, the same one that helped me waste over 400+ hours of my life on Pokemon Emerald (that I still have and play cause it's my baby) xD;

I SAW GLOVER AT A LOCAL TRADE-A-GAME AND I FLAILED and then my soul wept for the rest of the week because, lo, I don't have my N64 so it would've been a waste of money to buy.

Yeah, my childhood was mostly affected by Sonic. First game I ever played, so that instantly decided whose side I was on. Don't hate on Mario, but I've honestly never liked many of his games.

Haha, yeah. I don't want to trade in or give to a pawn shop, because what I get for them isn't much and it's not worth it. Also, sentimentality weighs a lot in my mind at times...

Yea, Mario games just never catch on some people. I was overly exposed to it, so I just grew up with it. (Mario, Kirby, and Megaman X mostly. I adored my Super Nintendo as much as I did my N64)

Hehe, I still have all the pokemon handheld games I've ever played. Gold, crystal, yellow, sapphire, diamond, and heartgold in that order. Diamond is the one that I still play from time to time because that's the one that I put my heart and soul into. Over 500+ hours of chaining, battles and beauty contests xD Ended up with 4/5 stars on my trainer card only because I can't defeat the trainer battle tower to get the last star haha. But Gold was my first and still has a special place in my heart, even if all my game data is erased and I can never play it again ;___; Thanks for the kick in the childhood Nintendo.

I agree. Gamestop will give you like... $15 for a game that was release that same week of you try to trade it in.

Loved playing Kirby on my Gameboy. Would just spend hours replaying those levels. Sadly never had a Super Nintendo or even a GameCube. Parents never liked buying me many game platforms.

I love going to GameStop, but yeah, they give so little back I find trading back in to pretty much be a waste. Replay value > then 20% you get back of the original value, if that.

I have like 8 different Pokemon games for my DS; HG, SS, White, Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, and Explorers of Time xD I have no patience to train, I mostly just stick to contests and hunting around for random pokemon ;v;

Yea same with mine. I got what we had, mostly. The first gaming anything that I got for my own was my Gameboy and Emerald at like 10 or so.

Oh God, Emerald. First Pokemon game I ever actually had, not counting Pkm Stadium 1 & 2, being the first I actually could go on my own adventure thing and all that. Logged two hundred hours on that thing within, like, a year and a half.

I love going to Gamestop only because they have awesome old games. Found StarOcean: To the End of Time there a few weeks ago and I was SO excited.

Chaining in Diamond was just one of my favorite time wasters. It was crazy frustrating at times but I just loved catching my own shinies n___n But yes, training/battling is my least enjoyable activity in pokemon as well.

For some reason I haven't been able to get into them as much as I used too. I think because I played Diamond to the core xD I'm sort of waiting for the next level of pokemon handheld I guess. Like instantaneous trainer alert when you get near someone with an active ds. Or catching pokemon based on where you are IRL.

I was one of those children that didn't have a means of going outside to play (we lived in an apartment at the time) so I would just lay in front of the TV and play my Emerald xD

Fun fact: In the probably combined thousands of hours that I've played my Pokemon games... not one wild shiny. Ever. ;__________________;

oh man paper mario is one of my favorite games - I was planning on replaying it earlier but then I realized that while I have the console and the cartridge, I don't have a working controller. WORST VIDEO GAME COCK BLOCK EVER D:
