Hello :) My pet Barriss is currently tier 5 and I've scraped together some weapons for us (most of which I had lying around in my wardrobe tbh). I also had a look at some help topics but they seemed to be quite old.

My current set is:

I feel like I might be missing something - like a I need a better healer or another bomb or a freezer, and it also feels like my weapons aren't hitting as much as they could. I don't have any scrolls either.

Does any one have any advice for how I could improve my set?

You probably don't need pearl flat sword if you are going to use that claw of everhearts. Even then, you should only be using claw of everhearts if you have a spear of everhearts to pair up with it as both weapons get a significant boost when used together (you will have to replace your amulet of life to use the spear though as the spear does consume the healer slot).

Gorgun or Gate Keeper collar of slavery (both of which are in the battle shop in the hard tokens section if you have enough) will help work as a freezer. You don't really need shinigami. The illuminator only works against opponents that deal light icons really.

Ah! I do have a Spear of Everhearts - it's in my wardrobe but I had discounted it since it was a lower tier. I'll try them together. Thanks for your advice :)

The stats of the spear do become tier 5 level when equipped with the claw. In fact, the claw kind of sucks without the spear accompanying it as well.

Hopefully you'll be able to get the pquill when it comes back in the Mil Center. (:

Definitely invest in a PQuill when the MC changes to summer items. I need one myself haha! I recommend highly, as well as the . For one, it scales from T5-7, so you'll have a lot of use from it.

It has a useful blessing, Parched, and a curse, Singed. You'll need the Parched blessing to keep you from being frozen for 3 turns. I'd also mod it out with Parched Baguettes just to get it to activate more often. Singed doesn't deal much, but at least does something when you take a turn to heal/defend.

The shield also has the Parched/Singed benefit. It's semi-breakable though, so you'll have to consider other shields as a potential backup when it breaks mid-battle. Having the machete and shield together will give your pet a small boost in defense and strength each turn btw.

Healers for T5, well, the combined with the Claw will give you a 7% heal, easily the best for a T5 combo.

I always recommend Echo's Family of Bhakorus when investigating potential weapons. It's helped me a great deal in figuring out battle sets! =)

Thanks for the tips! I checked the price of the Forj shield and I picked one up for 500k so that's gone straight to my armoury. Still need to save a few points for the machete though ;)
