This thread is dedicated to the throwing vials.
Each vial has a different number of icons of damage that it will do. They all have one basic function though. After throwing, a message will appear that says either "-insert vial name here- gives you the 1 -insert vial name here-" or "-insert vial name here- gives you the 1 !" If you get the first message, that means another vial appeared in your weapon set for you to use again. If you get the second one, it means the vial broke and didn't produce another vial to use. If this happens, you cannot use the vial again until your next fight.
The stats are as follows:
15 Magma, 16 Water, Heal 50
18 Water, 20 Air, 1 Fire, 1 Dark, 1 Earth, 2 Ice, 2 Light, 2 Magma
20 Earth, 16 Water, 25% heal
15 Ice, 15 Water, Chance to Freeze
20 Dark, 16 Water, Chance to Steal, 5% Heal
Meh, I was about to count them all, but was kind enough to do all the hard work for me :P Thank you.
Are you stealing from Gelatin Golem and then using them?
When it says "Give you the 1 !"...that means it didn't work. When it says "Gives you the 1 -insert vial-"...that means it should have worked. Can you screenshot next time, please? I'll try to fix it if it really is glitched.
Mmkay. I will go ahead and test it again, followed by a screenshot on an edit post if it repeats.

Mutagenic Throwing Vial: 15 Magma, 16 Water ,Heal 50
Destabilizing Throwing Vial: 18 Water, 20 Air, 1 Fire, 1 Dark, 1 Earth, 2 Ice, 2 Light, 2 Magma
Acidic Throwing Vial: 20 Earth, 16 Water, 25% heal
Mercurial Throwing Vial: 15 Ice, 15 Water, Chance to Freeze
Necrotic Throwing Vial: 20 Dark, 17 Water, Chance to Steal, 5% Heal
Eh, just in case anyone is interested. There's a few more i think but w/e, reference for people working on strategies? :P
Fearless, you only miss Necrotic, pretty sure :)
It's because it thinks you have no constants. You have to have at least 2 items left after using them.
Eh I added it :P. There are most likely variations in the icons that I posted, but it gives you an idea :P
Okay, , I know I might just be toying around with the needed constants, but I decided to try using it with just ONE other weapon. In this case, I'm using Contradiction with the Necrotic Throwing Vial. It works just fine... if I click on Contradiction first. If I click on the throwing vial first, then I get an error page with the message:
Not only is it grammatically incorrect (the 'dont' is missing an apostrophe), but when I click the back button, both weapons have vanished, and instead I have a slots spork. I don't mean to be a bother of any sort, but what if some random player wants to use just two weapons? That wouldn't be fair :P /sarcasm
Just wondering about the coding used on the vial...
I'm a little lost. Where are you all getting these throwing vials from?
Because the vial isn't an unlimited use weapon. You need two unlimited use weapons attached if you are going to use any once per battle weapon aka the vials.
Given from the Dripping Gelatin Vial
I understand this, and it does work if I click the check box under Contradiction first, followed by the vial, but when I click on the vial first, followed by Contradiction, that's when I get the error. I'm just wondering why that was.
Head desk Because the Contradiction is the only unlimited use weapon you have attached and you need another unlimited use attached if you want to use single use or once per battle weapons. To trigger it realizing you don't have enough unlimited use weapons you have to use a single use or once per battle weapon. If you did 1 mil rounds of only using the Contradiction then it never knows what else you have equipped. It seems to be intentionally coded into the game that way. Maybe to try and make the game slightly more difficult then only having uber single use weapons attached and rolling over all the npcs....nudges Kunfusion Have to ask the coders/battle brain/site owners to know for sure.
Dripping Gelatin Vial letro gained: 1 level(s) 1 strength 2 defence 1 intelligence 0 health points
Missed the 'use item' option >__>. Too much text lulz.
[tot=joanne]
Ah. Figures. Thank you, Tche! :)
ETA: I saw a "Use Item" option when I checked mine. It's kind of buried between the lists of "use on X" and "equipt to x." Nevermind.
First of all, you're only using two weapons, your other is going to disappear regardless because you have only 1 weapon. (When you use it, it disappears.)
Now when you use the Throwing Vial, it's going to THINK you have one weapon and create some sort of void that will suck in your Throwing Vial whether it generates or not. Thus the magical nuisance Slots Spork is born.
There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with the vials other than the funny wording, grammar, etc...I cannot control that. Report it if it bothers you so much, though. :P
Like I said, though, everything is fine. :)
