:(
A couple of weeks ago, I went through all of the history channels our cable offers and recorded interesting/useful things that will come in handy for this summer's writing, such as what the Victorians/Stuarts did for us, and some stuff on WWII. I was pretty fucking psyched because I love history. :D
So what did the cable box do? It decided to work like a piece of shit and cause snow and static on our TV, meaning that we will have to return it. That also means that all the things I recorded have to go buh-bye. :(
I just deleted everything I recorded, save for a documentary on Operation Valkyrie: The Plot to Kill Hitler. I sat down to watch it, only to find out that it was on the Neuromburg trials. D:
So yes, TV just failed me TWICE. /wrist
Has anything of that sort happened to you? Ever ask anyone to record something important and then they didn't?
fsdh;; TELL ME OF YOUR SORROWS.
[edit] fff now my mom tells me that LOL HEY THERE WAS NO RUSH EVEN THOUGH WE MADE IT SOUND LIKE THE BOX NEEDED TO BE RETURNED LAST WEEK. :)
So I could have fucking watched everything.
Please excuse me while I break out into a chorus of "baawwwww!"
Yeah, back when we had satellite, I had recorded my whole life on that DVR: Two and a Half Men, Pokemon, I Love the 80s/70s/New Millennium, and a whole bunch o' shit.
Then my mom switched to Verizon FiOS and I lost EVERYTHING D:
I seriously thought I was gonna cry LOL
THAT SUCKS.
I would have cried, no joke. xD
Same here. I was in a tough spot for time and summer was fast approaching so I figured I'd use the time to watch the recorded shows. I really don't get how people can do that with every single show, every week, though. D: Or people who act like the TV rules their lives.
I'm not sure, but it doesn't matter much now. xD
I almost did. Here's how the conversation went: Mom: o btw were gettin vrzn fyosss in a week Me: Wha-- B-b-but... W-why? :( :( Mom: o idk da satlyt dun wrk rite no mo' Me: D: D: D: tears up No! I have all my stuff recorded! Mom: das ok we recrd it 4 u b4 da new dvr comes k?
And they never did D:
