Well I found $500.00 straight up laying in neat bills today at the park. I have an idea what the money was there for, but i'm not going to turn it in!

My LUCKY day! Well... I only have 125$ left.. I spent quite a bit.

Probably keep it, although I think the law says to turn it in or something.

wince Man I feel bad for the person that lost it. Lucky find though. I think if I found $500 I'd actually turn it in...just because if it were me that lost the money, I'd jinx the person who found it and kept it for life XD

I'd definitely turn it in personally. I'm not here to lecture on the right thing to do or anything as I'm certainly not perfect and just as human as everyone else, but...I really don't think I could keep a 5 dollar bill that someone had lost without being hassled by my conscience.:(

Depends, you seem to know some type of situation with said park. If the money was drug-related and the idiot lost it, his loss. I'd use it to pay a few bills, and my fiance a few new work pants/shirts. Yay real life use. xD

if it's just plain money lying around, how would you even find out who dropped it?

me, I'd give it back if I SAW who dropped it, or if it was in a wallet with someone's name on, but I wouldn't go turning in anonymous plain money to the police or anything. the chance of the person who lost it getting it back that way would be ridiculously low. so I'd keep it.

I'd probably spend it on books and CSC.

Well if I found THAT much money, I'd turn it in. =/ hell I found an iPod once and I turned it in. Only time I wouldn't turn money in is if it's like 5 dollars or something less then a 10. But yeah 500... right to the authorities.

I would probably keep it. I sincerely doubt there would be any way humanly possible to find who the money would belong to, seeing as it's just 'lying around'. :x

Now if a few moments later, I see some person running around, frantically screaming something about losing 500 dollars...THEN my conscience would kick in. :P
