i'm usually one for hooking up... well, not sex, i don't have sex. but making out and touching. idk. :x commitment is fine but hooking up is more fun in my opinion.

what do you do?

I've...never really dated, now that I think about it. I have relationships, lol.

I tried the whole hooking up thing. It's just not my thing.

Hahaha, it depends. I'm really picky, anyway. But, I guess if the guy is hot enough... I've been known to uncharacteristically pseudo hook-up.

Most of the time, I know before the first date is over if I'm into the guy or not. If I'm not, the second date doesn't happen, and there is no "touching".

I prefer commitment, though. I don't fall for just anyone, and I fall pretty hard for the few. Chances are, if I'm making out pretty early, I've probably fallen hard, and that's never a good sign.

But, I'm in college now and I've kind of just thrown all of the laws and rules of dating out the window and just let whatever happens, happen. It works XD

dating is staying committed and having a boyfriend and hooking up is getting your sexual urges out of the way with someone.

there's a huge difference. xD; wtf.

I'm all for dating and relationships. In my opinion it's way more enjoyable to be physical with someone when you have feelings for them (rather than just sexual attraction). FEEEEEEEELINGS. 'Hooking up' just doesn't feel right to me.

I tried it once. Even though I did it because I genuinely liked him, I felt so wrong afterward. Not to mention crushed, because apparently the feelings weren't mutual and he just wanted a to hook up. He had told me otherwise beforehand. D:

Long term dating is the only thing that makes sense to me.

At least with the opposite sex, because why the HELL would I risk getting pregnant by someone I wasn't absolutely sure of?

The same sex, it's fair game. Long term relationships are desirable in this case, and even attainable, but not as much is at risk, ja?

Commitment ftw.

When you've taken the time to learn your partner's body and they've learned yours, it's earth shattering. Plus there's no awkward leaving or uncertainties about their history.

I'd... MUCH rather date someone than just hook up.

I won't even try ro hook up with someone. Having someone touch me without even knowing much about me... UGH. It disgusts me to know end. :|

I wouldn't even let me own boyfriend touchy-feel me until we had been dating for a year and a half. HECK, I wouldn't even let him hug me until a month after we first started going out!

..okay, the last thing was a bit much I agree, but goodness that's how I am. >__<

I'd just rather not do either. I have no reason to do so. Friendships for me have always ended with both uf us butting heads. That's why I don't even wanna try dating or hooking up at all.

I am more of the dating type. I don't see the point in 'hooking up' because 9/10 people just seem to get hurt.

I also have always been brought up to be committed in a relationship and not to toy with people.

Dating/commitment. I am way too antisocial to just randomly hook up with someone for a quick thing.

Besides I have a boyfriend ^^

I have a boyfriend now but i'm a dating person. It's not called dating here though lol. I'm not the kind of person that can just be all sexually intimate for a short while then move on to the next person... i need commitment and closeness haha

I date. I'm more of an emotional person and I'd rather be with someone in an emotional relationship than a physical one, although the physical part of a relationship is a great bonus. Lol.
