I liked hooking up when I was younger. I absolutely love the thrill and heart-fluttering of hooking up and that first encounter. I also hooked up when I did not know what I wanted. Now that I am older, and in a relationship, I am for commitment. I like spontaneous people because that is how I feel I tend to be.

Hooking up is fun. I've done it a couple times (once with a guy I've lusted after for almost a year, and a few times with a really hot guy who was my friend's friend). I enjoyed it. A lot of people who heard about it was all, "omg wtf how could you do that" and I just don't understand why they'd freak out. There was no sex, anyway. It's as natural as shaking hands or giving hugs, if you ask me.

Either is fine with me. I enjoy the relationship I'm in with my boyfriend though. :3

Hooking up is good and fun if you can do the whole no strings attached. Most girls, however, can't. They get sexually involved with someone and feelings usually follow. I prefer hook ups, but that's mainly because I'm selfish. I believe that my needs and wants are always changing so a long term relationship isn't really possible. My longest so far has been two years. Most last about one to three months, though.

Honestly I prefer dating and being in long-term relationships. Currently I have been dating my boyfriend for 8 months now and it is great. :)

But I don't have any problems with people who hook-up. The ones that hookup with people by making them think it's going to be a relationship or that cheat on the girlfriends/boyfriends by hooking up bother the hell out of me though.

hooking up is basically getting with someone once or from time-to-time to ''get out your urges'' and well, dating is when you're committed to one person.

I can definitely appreciate both for different reasons.

Relationships make you feel warm and fuzzy, appreciated and loved, blah blah blah. Hooking up is just... well, it's fun for the sake of fun, (usually) with no strings attached.

Right now I have the best of both worlds - I'm in an open relationship. =)
