Alas, I know your sorrow. My basement where my little game room is flooded, which it's never done before, and my DS with an awesome Sonic skin turned into non-floating boat. Fortunately, my computer, Wii, and TV were on stands.

Moved to Chit-Chat! Sorry to hear about your DS. :( Not sure if this will help, but sometimes with electronics you can revive them by washing them and letting them air out completely. My teacher told us a story once about a man who kept his computer in his barn. With the cows. Because he did all of his cattle record stuff on the computer. In the barn.. Anyhow, they took it to a car wash and washed all the cow stuff off of it, then let it air dry for about a week. They flipped the switch, and it turned on. :| Not sure it'd work with a DS but maybe its worth a try? Just dont electrocute yourself.

I would never forgive myself if that happened to me lol ): I don't have a DS, but I bought Pokemon Pearl and I play it on my sister's DS because she never uses it. I'm so attatched to all of my stuff though, breaking/losing something would kill me haha ):

I left my phone on top of my boyfriend's car last year, and when he went to drive me home I forgot it was up there and... yeah ): it sucked.

I don't remember the last time I used my DS. I didn't even know I had it anymore, and then my boyfriend found it while cleaning my room. Woo.
