One of my friends dropped her DS in the bathtub and once it dried out it worked again.

My DS died at age 4. :( I fell on my DS whilst wrestling. My large man-hip shattered the top screen. And I think a graphic thingy. Even if the screen can be fixed, I doubt it'll show anything. D:
