THEY'RE HAPPENING!!! I'm actually primarily focused on the template engine right now. So this is mostly aimed at people who currently own a cult or have one in the works, or have owned one in the past.

Can you show me what kind of layout you have now (a screenshot would be more than enough) and what sort of features you'd want for building your cult layouts in the future.

Oh man I gotta dig out all the information I had planned out about with the cult revamps~~ (and my screenshots~! )

All I know is I would LOVE way to reorder cult threads without having to delete them all and start over creating them, and a warning system in the cults along with the banning.

Just a note, this isn't an overall cult suggestion thread. I'm primarily looking for layout feedback right now! Layouts that your cult currently has, what kind of things you'd like to do with them, etc.

I feel like we've seen this post before only to get our hopes up and then smashed lol so I'm going to be skeptical and reserved until I see something tangible ;) I'm on my phone now, I'll think and take some screenies later but honestly the whole cult set up here is awful, that's why KS is off site now with a fully customizable forum. So pretty much ANYTHING other than how cults are now would be a million times better. would you like screenies of our off site forum? Or an invite to come look at our settings and what not? We even have our own warning system, it's pretty awesome imho but I'm pretty biased lol

Our cult home page right now looks like something an intro to web design student threw up on the first day of class. It's pretty terrible. Anything would be an improvement. xD Our offsite forums are just...regular old forums. It would be nice to have an easily customizable Custom CSS feature for cults. I'd really like to be able to change things easily, if we're having an event or something similar it would be super sick if there was an easy way to switch out a main banner image or something.

Okay took me a while to find these. I started to take screenies of our on site cult, but in all honesty, the only good point about cults right now, is that they are on site. That's it. I hate pretty much all the organization (or rather lack there of) we have to deal with. I hate the way the vaults make me take an item out one at a time. I like that we have a bank, but I hate that there is no place showing who's removed what (even though we keep track of it ourselves on our off site forums, it would be nice to have a withdraw record as well as a donation record).

Pretty much every suggestion I and other have made over the years (see this thread and this thread) is still relevant and much wanted. The question is, do any of us really care much anymore? I know I'm personally over the cycle of YAY WE'RE REALLY GETTING THEM SOON!!! to KEITH IS THE DEVIL FOR LYING TO US AGAIN!! if they happen, woo. If they don't well that's why we finally moved KS off site to something that is reliable and functional of our own creation do you guys have anything to add? you too?

Might be too little too late (or rather too little strung out over a frillion years) for me to get too YAY SO HAPPY haha I'm content with our own little world off site, and honestly it will take something pretty fantastic on subeta's part for us to part with what we have ;) Probably should have did that years ago, might have saved a few blood vessels in my brain y/y? ;)

Okay so here's a list of what I'd like to see:

1. I agree with what was suggested in the beginning of the thread mentioned HERE.

2. I also agree with cult admins having more flexibility to do things in their own cult. An example of this is particular admins having control over specific forums within the cult.

3. I'd like to see member ranks FINALLY working too.

4. I'd like to see cult admins have the ability to punish members who don't abide by the cult's rules, although without necessarily banning them from the cult.

5. I'm definitely all for there being a cult calendar for listing cult events, member birthdays etc.

6. Quick stock to and from the cult's vault would be fantastic, considering it's a one-item-at-a-time thing right now, which can be extremely tedious.

7. I definitely want to see cults having their own shops. Right now members of our cult have set up shops (and paid good sP for the privilege too, I might add) to sell stuff in order to make funds for the cult and this shouldn't be the case. Then, any sP made by the cult shop should be able to be transferred directly to the cult's bank.

8. I'd like to be able to go to my cult forum page and see across the top where new stuff has been added - e.g. new threads, new posts in a thread I posted in, new forums etc

Have I missed anything out Poetic?? lol TBH I'd be happy to stay where we are as we have everything we need offsite and IT WORKS 24/7!!

Nope that's why I said it's pretty much going to have to be a utopia for me to even care at this point enough to shuffle everyone back lol

Are what you guys are using off site just forums, or are they part of a broader content management system?

I'll be the first to admit I'm technologically impaired and this system was super easy to set up in pretty much 24-48 hours and has been working great for us.

tbh I have no idea what a content management system is or why we'd need one. I go for the simplest thing possible. Less is more for functionality imho.
