I don't know if I am unaware of something or if it's just a bug, but when I try to use a Tome of Wind on my pet, I get a message that says "Oh No! Your pet cannot use this stat booster because of its tier!" I can use all the other Tomes on her without issue. She is a tier 10.
All right, I think this is fixed now! 20 items affected including Tome of Wind, Tome of Ice, Fancy Vesnali Apothecary Vial, and 17 others (Bottled Rift Essence, Calvin Blackmoons Clover, Defense Leech, etc.) should all be working!

Is this the same error you got with the Ice and Wind ones?
Yes, it is the same error I got when trying to use the ice and wind tomes. I'm on a Windows desktop, and my pet is tier 9. Eggs do typically behave like this if you are above tier 3, but not tomes. I'm hoping it is an error rather than a new thing.

There is an error with a few of the tomes right now. Pop them into your vault, they'll work in a few days -- I'm trying to figure out what the probem is.
The other tomes are still working!

I cannot remember what all Tomes I purchased... it was 3 or 4 others, but I only had issues with the Wind ones. Seems we have an answer to our issue! Just a glitch in the system for now.

just confirming that i used a variety of tomes recently and the ones that were giving me an error that i couldnt use were the tomes of wind and ice
just got the same message from Tome of Wind
In addition to the tome of ice and wind, is also not working and giving the pet tier error message. This is an intelligence booster that you should be able to use regardless of tier
Afaik this is still an ongoing problem

Can confirm what Metroid said--tried a tome of wind today, and it was still giving the same error.

Hi everyone! Taking a look at these today, it's... really weird - they're all using the exact same code, so I'm not sure what is going on.
If I can't figure it out in a lil bit, I might just make it so that it so that these items can transform into one that we know works.

still getting this error message when i attempt to use the tome of ice, wind and Fancy Vesnali Apothecary Vial. I tried on a pet that was tier 1 and it still throws the same error
