I just logged in for the first time in a few hours and it's like Kumos is bleeding through on Legacy. My tabs are all a purple/blue color (using Shadowglenn on Legacy), the text is all out of place as well. Forum topics are broken as well, they are in a line rather than the grid style they have been.

I'm experiencing the same thing.

I'm glad forums are back up, missing alerts came in, site is fluent. However I've already spent far too much time here for my initial tasks, because the different look disturbs me immensely.

Many pages show much too huge - I had to reduce them to 90%, because the content doesn't fit onto the page or the writing is much too big, but then, when I navigate somewhere else, I have to go back to 100%, because things are too small again.

Some places we have the bloated layout with much too much space inbetween, font is too big, forum parts all one long sausage, some link borders almost invisible (I'm using the arctic theme)

I hope all this gets reverted to "proper" for the rest of Subeta's life. I can't work like that.

ALSO: I CAN EDIT EVERYONE's POSTING!!! (on old threads as well!)

Just wanted to put in that the layout of my customized pet profiles is all messed up too. I didn't want to make a new .topic for it because I'm sure it's related to the general changes in layout.

All script is off center in legacy and I can't do anything in Kumos.

Also the BC is totally broken. It will load the battle page but it doesn't process your moves properly or at all. First time I haven't BQed in years :(

I'm going to have to give up using Subeta for today I think - this 'different' legacy layout is messing with my eyes :(

I've added in some custom CSS to try and tone down some of the differences, but right now I really can't handle the Kumos style layout sneaking into the regular site (even something as simple as a user tag is messed up, where the user icon is on one line, and the link to their profile is below it). The font size is massive on the headers (I could even read that without my glasses on!), and it feels like there's a lot more white background than normal (especially on the main news page) - not sure if there is more white, or if it's the layout / colours making it feel like that (using Delphi Beach on legacy)

....the "more white background than normal" is very apparent on the forums page too - I'm typing this while not looking at the screen, as the extra white is too much white for my eyes to cope with (if that makes any sense at all?!)

Pet profile links stopped working as well. I hope this is fixed soon.

Yup, everything is every which way. Like, not aligned, information under forum avatars in lines instead of laid out like a square, images like the Bathhouse and Rift and Job Agency aligned to the left instead of center. Job Agency doesn't load the collect all page, so I have no idea if I got my money or not. And wholly! We can edit other people's posts?! That's just asking for bad acts to do something!

Adding in to report the same thing, and yeah looks like I can edit everyone's posts as well...

Yep, everything's breaking. No flowers for days, the wardrobe started refreshing every 30 seconds yesterday so I gave up using it, Kumos is either extremely laggy or doesn't load at all...

Getting kind of irritated.

I thought I'd accidentally zoomed my screen out but nope, the text really is that small right now.

Same here, everything seems messed up royally. For example I went to collect pet income but the page for 'Collect All Income" was not functional so I did it one-by-one. Also the scroll bar at the side of some pages is missing...just lots of stuff.

After the site was down for hours we were told the site would be faster and all but something apparently...happened. A day before the site went down I disabled my kissing code simply because it wasn't working so..in short I hope this gets fixed.

My text on Legacy is bigger than usually and is squished now because of it.

Everything that is shared with Kumos is messed up because Kumos is messed up and can't really be accessible.

Thank you for the reports everyone! I really appreciate it (and am working on a more broad level post on the news / forums, things have been crazy!)

Starting with: A lot of the things you are seeing isn't "Kumos bleeding in to the legacy site", it's me removing thousands of lines of (mostly dead) CSS from the site that is no longer maintained by third parties. Legacy is pulling in Bootstrap (six versions ago), Prototype.JS, SemanticCSS, etc. That's why every button on the site looks different, it's kind of like a tree -- what design system where we using that year.

So, to be able to do any development on the legacy site (which is how I brought back kissing and the kissing booths in those forums!) i had to remove some of the things that just couldn't build anymore. That meant removing a lot of that CSS.

A great example: The font size that you see on pages is clearly going wonky now, and it's because it was set in 1,800 places. Forum posts would say their own font size, and the user information on the left, another font size. And all of those are in numbers that play off each other, so if the forum text is "1.2" then the avatar text is smaller, 0.9, but it's based on the forum text! I don't expect that to make a lot of sense, but it's just how all of these things cascade.

I'm spending today fixing these issues, because now I can actually make changes to legacy. In particular fixing the page breaks (battle and pet jobs it looks like?) that completely broke - and these layout shifts, in particular i'll be making sure that pet profiles and user profiles do not break (and if they do being able to say exactly what changed!)

It is a very big deal that (legacy!) Subeta is running on the newest version of PHP and I was able to pull out all of that CSS (tens of thousands of lines). I'll keep y'all updated today, and thank you 💖

I'm unable to battle.... trying to attack doesn't do any damage to the opponent. anyone facing the same issue?
