I know we already have an "aqua" color but I'd like to suggest an "ocean" color as well.... These pets could be cheery blues/greens with sand, shells, seaweed, etc. Please consider this as a new option for release with maybe an upcoming holiday :)

I never finished this ultimately but you get the idea. Sandragon's color scheme is wasted on just him alone.

tbh more pet colors based on various Subeta regions would be amazing.

We already have glade for Riverside/Veta Lake, darkmatter for Darkside, glacier & nostalgic for Arctic Frost, hydrus for Omen Islands, steamwork & galactic for Atebus, and graveyard & nightmare for Shadowglen. Probably a few more I'm missing.

Adding a beachy one for Delphi Beach? Heck yes.

White seafoam for the tufty bits (like the jollin tail & maybe the wispy bits on the cheeks in Metroid's example), sandy bits, maybe even that watery ripple effect for the back? Just tossing ideas around, but the color concept overall is so good.

I know the aesthetics are a bit different but isn't this just kind of Hydrus? I'm not against the idea inherently but Hydrus already has the seaweed/shell/sand thing going on pretty strongly. I do like the idea of more location-based colors though!! Maybe leaning into the "beach day' aesthetic rather than the ocean itself, with buoys and beachballs and whatnot?

I get the comparison, but it's not on the same level as hydrus, at least to me. c: Hydrus is sea monster/bioluminescent aquatic predator themed. Ocean is giving me more the vibe of a happy, chill time at the beach. Gathering seashells, taking walks, finding cool pieces of driftwood, writing/drawing in the sand, watching the waves or the tide roll in vs. lionfish lurking in a coral reef. Surface vs. deep ocean.

Could be like the riftborn & galactic pets - ocean pets could be the polar opposite of hydrus.

Hydrus is more aggressive and lore-wise they're servants to Merana, an evil sea witch. An Beach Day color could be about having fun in the sun, those who love the water but are not turned into servants of Merana

I wholeheartedly support this idea. Blue is my favorite color, so adding more blue-hued colored pets would be wonderful. Also, think of the cute poses that can be used; ie, a Ruffie digging a hole and a crab's popping out; a Feli that is pawing at something in a tide pool, etc.
