Someone maybe tell us why we couldn't log in for almost 24 hours? And how were we suppose to contact forums, when we can't log in? Thanks.

i'm just gonna quote Keith from the discord:

"Nope, it's a pretty easy to one to see now that I see the error on the backend - when I moved the navigation yesterday it's doing a check if you're logged in to show the avatar circle / user options But that check comes at a point where it would have already failed (the error folks are seeing) if there isn't auth - should hopefully be fixed in a few minutes"

"yup that's the issue 🙁 it can't find username because it's trying to access it on a logged out user - meaning that the whole page will be broken."

Basically it was something that nobody realized was a sitewide problem until more users chimed in there was an issue. If you never log out, like me, then you were not going to encounter the error.

tbh I have issues with having to go to a whole nother service to see updates, this is similkar to what that Santae site does, posting site updates/news/etc ofsite on Discord when not everyone wants to use a 3rd party chat site for SITE updates

By the time it was noticed to be an error, was contacted immediately and in just a few hours was online to fix it. A news post made here on the site would not have made a difference because it was a quick fix, and it only affected a small subset of users for a short time that even making a news post now probably isn't worth the effort. But that is why I went ahead now and pinged Keith so he can answer this thread if he feels he needs to.
