I figure it's appropriate to make a thread to sound off ideas for future monthly CS challengers! Each year we've had a theme the monthly CS challengers follow. Such as this year is the 12 astrological zodiac signs. So lets use this thread to come up with themes we want to see next year or in the coming years!
The 12 Chinese Zodiac Animals
I'll start, I figure the next logical step would be to do the Chinese zodiac animals. There's 12 animals, and the order they're placed in is when they crossed the finish line in the big race, according to the Chinese tale.
- Rat (Wyllop)
- Ox (Bovyne)
- Tiger (Tigrean)
- Rabbit (Kanis)
- Dragon (I would choose Rreign OR Paralix because the dragon in the story can fly, and helps the Rabbit cross the finish line before it)
- Snake (Serpenth)
- Horse (Hikei or Legeica)
- Goat: (also known as Sheep) (Sheeta)
- Monkey (Manchu)
- Rooster (Lain with a bad hair day, or Fester)
- Dog (Ruffie)
- Pig (Urubu)
Perhaps there could be a bonus 13th animal challenger, the Cat (Feli), who is mad and bitter (and drenched) because the Rat/Wyllop pushed him into the river, denying the Cat a placement. Could be a great Impossible difficulty challenger, a final boss of sorts.
Fairy Tales sequel theme
We have had the fairy tales theme before for monthly challengers, and I think there's still PLENTY of fairy tales left to go. Would be fun to revisit this with new fairy tales!
Already done: 3 Little Bears, Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood, Hansel and Gretel

Posting some of the ones I've seen on Discord:
• Challengers based on zombie skins from Survival (suggested by )
• Challengers based on Subeautique designers, or based around Delish/Vanity sets (suggested by )
• Challengers based on stat boosters (mage amulets, tomes, rewards from Shinwa's quests, etc.) (suggested by )
Not saying yes to this or anything, but we try to avoid doing the same pet species when doing like 12 pets or whatever. So a few of those on your list, , would have to change! We've been doing these zodiacs but also did wild pets so there's a good chunk of species that have gotten time in the spotlight!
