I am also experiencing this error for the 2016 strain “Clasping.” I have enough sP on hand but alas!

I wanted to remove my strain and can't, even though I have enough sP. Not sure what the dealio is.

Even in 2020 i can't get the death roe one... Keeps saying i don't have enough sps on had.. but i do!

Can't get the butterfly bruise virus, keeps telling me i don't have the sps. Got it via de free virus and let people bite me for it but still...

Currently having this issue, I got a strain didn't want cause I figured I had 1/4 chance but it wont let me cure it and I know I have the sP lol. it just won't let me cure it and I got the one out of all 4 I liked the least. hoping that it lets me in like an hour or so.

I also just encountered the same issue, was trying to choose the 2010 Growth strain for 3mil on the Voluntary Infection Program page, have enough sP as required, but getting the error message "An error occurred: You don't have enough sP for that virus strain." Tried to refresh the page, open in a new window, trying multiple times, still getting the same error even with enough sP... Currently having to resort to trying the free infection option, and really hoping that I get bitten with the right virus...

I, too, am having this issue with the 2010 Growth virus. I really want that one and have well over the required sp.

Having this issue with a wide variety of strains, I've literally got 3.5 mill on hand and yet I'm apparently unable to get any.

Same issue for a 2009 one I'm missing (romantic, flushed for Love Bug) I had 14 mil on hand and no dice.

I had this happen this morning for 2010 Eyecatching and 2019 White. I had more than enough for both, but got the SP error message.

I'm also encountering this issue for 2009 pale, heartbroken (boobitis). I've got 5 mil on hand so I definitely have the sp.

Getting this right now for Death Slug (2015) and I've got over/above what Sp is needed. Guess it hasn't been fixed since this was originally posted 2/25 :(

I'm having this issue for Song (2018) and will probably resort to the free option and the bite thread and hope it goes smoothly, but it's frustrating.

Having the same issue with 2009's "Pale, Heartbroken" (Boobitis) option. Tried with 3mil, 8mil and 18mil on hand - same "you don't have enough sP for that virus strain" error every time.

I think I remember this being an issue in previous years with older viruses too... Maybe it's the same issue rearing its head again?

I've been trying to get Enamored 2015 and still getting this error message. It's rather sad that this has been going on since the start of the event and still not fixed.

Edit: after I posted, I tried again and got it. I guess complaining worked.
