Other than part of the outline falling off the edge of the avatar rectangle, I don't see what's wrong with the current look?

He needs fur that looks like fur with dragon like scales and he needs a face and body that doesn't look like he flew out of a Dr. Seuss book.

Is this a personal preference thing?

I mean, Falkor looking like a Dr. Seuss character...he always looked like he'd fit in that world. I mean he looks like the character does, anyone can tell and recognize him immediately. (I'd say he's cuter here than in the movie)

It would just be lovely to see a more realistic look to him 🤔. I don't see why everyone seems to have a weird problem with me asking about a redraw for him. I doubt it would happen anyway sigh but it would be nice if it was done.

Is it part of a trunk? I can't remember for the life of me if it is, I think it is. If the rest of the items wearable art needs a refresher, I don't see why not.

I personally don't have any issue with your opinion! I was just looking for info on where the desire for the redraw was coming from.

For example, if the things you mentioned were because you were hoping he looked more like the actual Falkor from the movie, it may be that he can't because of the 4 change policy used to protect Subeta from any copyright issues with tribute items. Especially since he's a CS item.

Or if you were more thinking "the art doesn't match Subeta's art anymore" (the most common reason for redraws) that would also make sense!

Personal preference is totally fine to discuss, and I don't think anyone should be "mean" about it. For the record, I don't think anything on this board suggests "everyone seems to have a weird problem with me asking about a redraw for him". More that you said "I'd like him to look different" and other people have said "I think he's fine". Both parties are sharing their opinions.

I would like to share a thought for consideration - in your original post it would have been helpful to complete your thought by sharing what you'd like to be different and why. For example, if someone did "redraw" just from the first post he still may look nothing like what you were imagining. It may also come across in a better way to express more clearly that you aren't necessarily critiquing the current art (saying something is "wrong") but more saying that you'd love to see this or a similar item that has xyz look. Someone put time and effort into creating him, and communicating in a way that considers them is imo best and kindest. Food for thought!

IDK that he'll get a redraw since his art does seem to match the site, but if he's outdated then this feedback could be taken into consideration! Or maybe another item / a CW could come from this idea!

I'm autistic so bear with me while I try to explain the best way I can on why I'd love to see a redraw or revamp as it is called.

I'd love to see a redraw/revamp to make him more realistic with better fur and detailed to the point that at first glance you would think he was a CW because his look would be that detailed and would make you say I need him in my life. But like I said I doubt anyone would say I had a great idea and would do that. It's just wishful thinking on my part ❤️🤗

I agree with ! Maybe you could commission a CW like that! I do like fluffy companions so a fluffier version of him would be cute!

The thing is that official wears are trying to stick to a style, and better fur/more detailed isn't that style. Once again, CWs are the way.

I could never afford to even do that 😢
