
Love these suggestions! I know there is a lot of support for these things, and I truly think they would make the user experience notably better and more fun! As you stated, atm some of these things are so tedious and mind-numbing that they become defeating. I know I took a break from working on my pet job goals because of the reading!
Reading Here is my newest proposal for a possible "mass-reading" concept based on information / feedback given by . Sadly I cannot code or make art, but I would be happy to contribute writing up any wording on the page(s) (volunteer to do so!). Would it work to have a "reading room" type page off the library where we can "turn in" books (maybe like we "turn in" currency items to certain folks or recycle beast items) and then combine that with an auto-train type feature? Perhaps this could be a trade-off where the books we turn in are not counted as the specific book, but rather as a "point" and then we could select an auto-train type feature where we read x # of books to X pet, and it takes X amount of time? BUT, books only count as being "read" to the pet if they are read individually? So turning them in and auto-reading will increase INT but won't have specific titles show up as read by the pet? Maybe a certain # of pets can do the auto-read for free each day, and doing more pets in that day costs a little sP and/or is a perk of the GA / Subscription? Alternatively, all pets can read x # but reading more would be the cost / perk?
Food I haven't done anything with feeding pets ^^' I just put everyone in the resort lol. But I love all the food items on site. The artists have done an amazing job. I'm not sure what the current hunger situation is (as far as how long it takes to become hungry again) but maybe increasing the hunger (ex: if it take 10 foods to be full atm, make it 25?) and decreasing the time it takes to become hungry again (ex: if it takes 1hr to drop 1 point make it 30min) would be a good way to resolve the issue. Additionally, I think you had mentioned before special items that could "increase hunger" (make more hungry) and there was the idea of the baths being able to do a hunger wipe once a day. I think these are all great ideas!
Battling / Training
YES to both! I see the "finished training" button working like the "collect all pet income" button, and the training page being like each pet has a drop down menu to select what stat (or none) to train and then a "let's get training" button that submits all at once or a menu like the quick stock page. IDK coding lol, so that's coming from a "this is what I imagine but will it work" perspective.

Like you said - a lot of these things were designed a long time ago when we could have like 10 pets lol. The site has grown SO MUCH since then, and I think these changes would create the same user experience we had then because it's scaling the functions proportionally with the number of pets we can have, etc.
