I am so excited for fall this year. And now it is past time to share our ideas for Fireside.
Fireside for those new to Subeta is an event that celebrates Fall. It includes a bonfire where you feed Red Reign items to the Red Reign, and donate pumpkins from Morostide. During the event Red Reign items will be floating around the site. They typically include plushies, beanbags, and stickers so if you are a collector get them before the end of the event because their prices will go up and they haven't ever made a rerun that I can remember. Don't forget to save up some pumpkins to give to Fantine and other foods to donate to Charity. If you throw wreathed red reign items in the bonfire you will get burned.

I would very much like to see more cozy sweaters / long jackets in various poses.
-holding food -holding a mug of hot cocoa -hands up, bracing against a gust of wind -clutching a leaf or letting one go
Dark Souls / Elden Ring inspired armors & weapons (there's so many to choose from)
More animal companions...
-Mouse held in the hand (it is looking for warmth) -Kitty on your shoulder trying to get under a scarf -Dog jumping in leaves -Bumble bee snuggled in a shirt pocket
I'd love to see more Lurbies! -Fire lurbies (possibly in the different temperatures of fir? so yellow to red and even white/blue) -a wearable sweater or jacket with a companion lurbie -other fire colored animal companions as both wearables or beanbag/plushies
Possibly phoenix themed items would be cool to go along with past ones especially with the colors and feathers.
I want to see some kind of new hybrid color, like Sweetydead, but with Reborn and Glacier! My pet Hailfire is basically supposed to be a Glacier-Reborn hybrid color, so I'd love to add to his TC if we could get a line of plushies and so on with this idea!

I love Fireside, it's such a cozy and fun holiday!
Reborn Pets / Bhakoru There are three species currently without a reborn form - Bhakoru, Qrykee, and Scootle. The Scootle and Qrykee rank 72nd and 73rd in species popularity, so I understand why they may not be a top priority, but it would still be great to have their reborn forms released during the holiday! Maybe a cool design would boost their numbers lol. The Bhakoru is a more desired pet (I believe) but since the limitations on being able to create one exist, they aren't found in many "families" here on site. I think it would be so cool to have them released to the community in a new way, and with their reborn color leading the charge. In similar fashion to how we have the Zentu baths to create Zentus, perhaps a new "place" where they can be "bonded with" (created) that is tied to Fireside activity somehow (simply as a means of reintroducing them). The bhakoru were originally found in the Steele Excavation site, which is no longer accessible. Perhaps the Great Red Reign from the Fireside lore still has access, and found some "eggs"? He is so delighted by the annual tribute that he decides to bring the "slumbering, alone" eggs with him and entrust them to the people? The people accept the gift, and he lights a great bonfire to be tended by folks in one of the Subeta-lands (because the eggs need the immense heat of the reign's flame to grow and hatch). I'm envisioning a page just like the Zentu baths but the art is one or two people around a hearth which is surrounded by eggs in little baskets and there are some "adult" bhakoru and some hatchlings. Community members can then "bond with" one of the youngsters (aka adopt a bhakoru). And the reborn color is released at the end of fireside because the reign was so pleased with the way the Subeta citizens took to caring for the Bhakoru that he gave the species a blessing before returning to the mountains. Items If the Bhakoru was re-introduced, then items related to them could be included in fireside such as:
Unrelated to the Bhakoru:
- tossing a ping your way based on your comment from this board c:
Thanks/Thank You" in their names. IE: A book ( yes, more books are always a thankful addition :P ) could be: "Thanks/Thank you subeta for the memories" "Thank goodness subeta is still alive and well/kicking" and foods etc, with similar words of thanks. Peace!
Ok this idea hit me and I think it could be so cute!
Since it has been said that Moro will spill into November for the first time, wouldn't it be nice if once Fireside hits there a lingering Moro theme in the items for that holiday? Like Charity and the Red Rreign get hold os some "leftover" candy to make new items with them. Fireside with a hint of Spooky!
Fireside might be shorter this year as the price for making Morostide extend into November after starting late. So I would hope that there's either less items, or they're easier to get. Maybe no new Red Rreign items but instead all the floating items are older ones from all previous years? It would help to get some of the really older and more expensive Red Rreign items back into circulation as well, at the moment that only happens with the Wreathed items from the Bonfire.
Something I've been wanting for a long time are good autumn background that aren't just an ocean of orange. I know that's hard to do since it's one of the colors associated with fall but there can be ways of breaking it up. Muted greens, grays, golden browns, bright or dark reds and even purples and teals. Or maybe pastels.
Colorful Trees Dark Hedges Foggy Fall Cemetery Bridge Bridge2 Beautiful Browns Brown leaves Colorful leaves Purple and green Changing Gradients Pastels Florals Pale pumpkins
And let's not forget nuts, acorns and all of the autumn flowers and berries. And we NEED more fungi to go with the cute Collection!
