What We Expect of Our Members

We hope our members will be active and participate within the group (and we have several ways to participate: KS forums, Discord chat and this thread!) when they are active on the site. If you cannot be active on the site due to whatever reason just let us know, that way we don't think you've forgotten us! And that is it! (Aside from following all Subeta and Group Rules 😉 ) We are what our members make us, and we have something for everyone (if we don't we'll make it if our members ask for it!).

Our much beloved friend and co-owner Innerflame passed away on August 1, 2013. We would not be a group at all without all of the dedication she put into building our community. She was a kind and beautiful soul and we will miss her greatly ❤

If you wish to speak to any of us, feel free to ping us here, or use our Staff Ping group and whoever is online at the time will be happy to answer any questions you have. Also, all of our members may take up leadership roles as needed to help run games or give their input into what we do. We're a democracy (mostly) not a dictatorship 😉 If we sound like the group for you please fill out this brief questionnaire (please remember to copy the ping group for our staff!) and hang around here for a little bit and chat with our current members 😄 As soon as a member of staff gets online we can send you an invite to the group!

Kindred Spirits is always accepting age 18+ players who are already involved in other groups - specific focus or general/social. The main thing is that when you join KS you spend some time with us, because if you're going to join and spend no time getting to know us or playing/chatting with us, there is no point in being a member.

Thank you for what you said on the other thread. I know its true. But right now sometimes I feel like I'm drowning. My mother's death was the worst, but not the only. I probably said something, but I don't remember right now. I'm dim today. But: my friend that I knew for 55 years died 12/20/23, my mother 2/18/24, and Rox's mother that I've known nearly as long as Rox (37 or 38 years) died 2/29/24. So big emotions for awhile now. Just kept adding more with each one. Sometimes I'm ok and actually in a good mood. My sense of humor comes forward and I can laugh at stuff. Then something small just connects and I'm breaking down and crying again. The rollercoaster makes it worse too. Draining. But, because I can laugh at stuff or just be in a good mood sometimes it IS getting better. :)

1. Do you prefer to be called by your username or another name? My user name is fine. Have you had any other usernames prior to this one? Nope

2. What are your interests on Subeta? I enjoy it all but doing quests are my favorite right now. Love the holidays here too! 🩷

3. How often do you play on site and will you be active within the group? Since returning I’ve been active every day and plan to continue. I would love to make new friends on here and that’s why I’m asking to join.

4. Why are you interested in joining Kindred Spirits? To make friends and be more a part of the community here. Are you currently in any other groups? Most of the groups are restock groups or inactive so I’m looking forward to being a part of this group.

5. Tell us a bit about you! I’m an older female living in the USA. Been a member for going on 15 years but was inactive for many of them but I’m back!

My sciatica is acting up again.. Ouch! Took a hot shower at 5am.. almost 6:30am.. maybe i will go back to bed...

yep when we are young we don't care but when we get older our interest grow and we like stuff we did not at first. I got all my shopping done yesterday and went to all the shops i needed/wanted.

Still rainy here so no blubber alpaca's.

Hair dresser appointment today and back to the supermarket as i got a product who was 2 months pass it's expiration date.... that's so not good. Called the shop i will get my money back and they will look better when organizing stuff in the shelves.

Have way too much in the wardrobe, but after 18 years it's to be expected. Here I buy clothes but in RL no. Can't change clothes easily for now, so I'm just tapping my toes impatiently.
