I've noticed over the past few weeks that the shops have been increasingly lowering the amount of items worth restocking. Shops which used to be great for items (Book Nook, Toy Box, Spells Galore, Atebus Shop, Trading Card Center and Home Appliances) have very few items worth restocking over the course of a day. Not so long ago I could do a restock run and get up to 10 or so different items - now I'm lucky to get one or two. And yes, I've refreshed shops until they actually restock only to see nothing but worthless junk come in.

Because there are certain items that I constantly restock for various reasons, I have noticed that the items tend to cycle. For a couple of weeks, one item won't restock at all and then suddenly return while other items stop restocking at that time. I could be wrong, but they appear to be cycled. Give it some time and you should see a 'better' cycle.

Rarer items have always been on cycles. Over the past few weeks, though, the 'better cycles' have become fewer and further between. Maybe the restock rate has been changed or something.

Not sure about the other shops, but my go-to is always Book Nook and I don't see a problem with the stuff that gets restocked there. I actually just restocked 4 rare items priced at 50k+ from there after seeing this post lol

I think the restock rate is fine. If too many rare items get put in all the time, they won't be as rare/worth as much anyway

I've been in Book Nook for about a month, trying to get books to read to Okkoto. So that might have something to do with it, cause I camp there! Any books he doesn't need that are "rare", I leave alone for others who need them.

There are other shops which have been restocking oddly over the past few weeks. Things have been a bit better this morning (UK time) but it's not like it used to be when you could find several items worth restocking on one restock run.

I can't say for other shops sadly, but Book Nook has remained consistent for me.

Yeah I feel like I've been seeing rare things restocking at a normal rate as well, I think that there are just more people restocking atm because lately I keep getting beaten to the punch on items.

The only shop I've noticed a problem with the Philosopher's Store. Its been empty a lot, like right now there's nothing in it all. I also had to make a few items for Quentin quests yesterday and there were only a few tinctures. There's never been a huge inventory, so I'm not sure if its the algorithm or if someone has just been going nuts restocking. Its been an issue for a few weeks now. When I first noticed I checked out other shops and they seemed fine.

All seems pretty normal to me. I was just able to grab 200k of rare books in one restock. Maybe just some competition?

Restocks were a lot better yesterday in some shops.

i'm pretty new to restocking runs, i've only been consistently stalking the shops and keeping up with my shop for just shy of a month i think, but i haven't had any issues. i think it's just a matter of new competition like others have said.. maybe i'm the competition lol??? i will say i've noticed an improvement over the past week or so here, but as i'm fairly new, maybe i'm just catching the right cycles?? idkidk

I actually feel like restocks have been easier and that might actually be lowering the price of items? I feel like a lot of items that were semi rare but still easy enough to get used to cap out at three copies in the stores. But I'm seeing sometimes like 6 or 7 of them at once. Anyone else notice that?

That could be because a lot more people are vending in hope of getting Freyalise items. Also, you can get a lot of items from battling event opponents.

The amount of items I mean is in the restocking shops, not the user shops!
