Heard about Subeta from another virtual pet site so it's my first day here! A bit overwhelmed but everything is adorable and I am loving the flower event, and just trying to get to get a feel for the site. Any tips and tricks are very much appreciated! If you see any flowers floating on your pages, grab them, you can turn them in to other peoples profiles (flower image will appear over their smail/friend buttons) you get Vesnali coins you can turn in to get lovely items from Ester's shop!

Subeta really manages to hit that brilliant balance of having super adorable or stunningly beautiful pets and also the coolest horror looking ones, often even within the same species! sometimes i just randomly click through the subetapedia just to see all the pretty pictures, lol. :p

I'm kinda removed from most of the site features that involve things like the forums, so I can't offer much advice myself, but I can recommend guides if you need them. I do really hope you enjoy your stay here! ^^

edit: one thing i really recommend is doing daily quests. it's a great moneymaker, just check the prices of each item before buying to make sure a million dollar new release snuck into the request pool. /totally not speaking from experience, nooooo...

Welcome! I am also new! Not much in terms of tips but there's lots of collection things you can do if you're into that (beanbags, plushies, trading cards, etc.) There's also a fun thing where you have a sticker album and can send stickers to friends :)

Just things I've been enjoying! I know someone mentioned quests. Major Drills quests are a really great way to learn about some of the different things you can do on the site because they kinda take you all over.

The pets here make me regret ever getting into Neopets as a kid. Haha! I absolutely love how cute they all are! I hope that makes you stick around. We'd love to have you here.

Thanks ! I'm really enjoying it thus far and the games are so nostalgic :) My favourite is Spectrail. Also really looking forward to Masquerade as I joined during Vesnali, and that was a lot of fun.

As for pets, I've been really loving the glade pets, storm pets, and rift pets! The artwork is so well done and they all look incredibly unique and fun. Considering getting a storm Sheeta next.

i don't remember exactly what i saw (i'm guessing riftborn or bloodborn) but the first time i saw a subeta pet, it turned me off cuz of how ugly i thought it was. if i'd seen some of the common pets first, i probably would've joined sooner.

i remember making jabber and going through the species list going "oh, these are just like neopets. not monstrosities!"

that's so funny! I came here from Neopets as a full-grown adult so I think my tastes are incredibly different from when I was a kid :P Your pets are super cute though, Jabber looks so cuddly despite the pins!
