i have been thinking about suggesting this for a while. it would be nice to have a ha house where we can decorate with furniture etc.

You're not alone in thinking about an idea for a house, but this is one of only a few things that Keith has said will never be added to Subeta.

I'd like to have a home to decorate, there could even be custom made, like we have the clothes...BTW, can you empty your smail sometime? :D

Ever since the death of Flash, Neohomes bit the dust naturally. Neohome 2.0 never took off anyways, but Classic is officially dead because Flash is dead.

so since Neohomes in any capacity are dead, can we have Subeta homes now? pleaseeeeeeeee

Neohomes being dead makes me so sad… I didn’t have a huge home but I spent a lot of hard earned neopoints trying to make sure my pets had good rooms when I was a kid 😢

Anyway, shame we don’t have the programmers, a Neohome clone could be interesting!

I wouldn't mind that feature on Subeta, but I think it would take a LOT of programming to do.

Wouldn't some items have to be converted to "home" items like how certain revamped items become wearables??

even if that were the creative decision the site wanted to go in, it would be way too much of a resource investment, especially considering the current state of things.

It really sucks that we can't even explore asking for a new feature like this because we simply don't have the programmers or artists for it. :c

I miss Millsberry - they had homes and you could even host yard sales. It was so fun and I miss it dearly. They had avatars and you even fed your avatars food and drink out of the fridge to keep their energy up. They had lots of fun games too. I'll always miss it.

I think with Subeta Homes, some money could be made, users can submit furniture, wallpapers, rugs, floors, frames, doors, etc. and be the CH (custom homes) or CF (custom furniture) or CHD (custom home designs) or alike. It would be SO much fun!

tbh this isnt something i would use, this kinda thing never really appealed to me on the sites where it existed (neopets, gaia etc) i agree with the above posts that it seems like a lot of work, especially if it involves retrofitting a ton of old items to be used. i know not every feature has to appeal to every person, but just my 2 cents on the topic of housing

I too miss that site. I fondly remember my trophy room and the pizza garden!

I would love a Subeta "home" but I understand that it will never happen.
