Zombie it’s been about 8 months because of duplicates. Vanya I use like once a year to catch up on gallery items (toys). Used to do computer builds with Melvin before he retired but that was for hobby, wasn’t profitable. ~S

I think the last time I crafted anything was when I did the baking unless you count the alchemy items and I think that was over 6 months ago

Ive done Vanyas stuff a few times, did the alchemy(underground) but got tired of dupes, I use Ian every so often, but nothng else really

I like to craft (most recently at asmodeus) but find the highjacked user shop prices to be a huge hinderance. I would make all the genetech items if I could, just for fun and challenge but the prices are exorbitant for many of the items. I craft the most around November / December: I have time off for Hanuccah and want to make special items or scrolls for friends for Lumi if I can.

I used to craft for the achievements, but lost the motivation even for that. I do make the scrolls from genetech, like cold blast and spacial abyss. I personally don't use the baking feature on site.

In terms of crafting scrolls, I think there are a lot of scrolls that would benefit from a stat update to entice more people to make them.

I crafted something yesterday! Also I love that you have different places to craft different things. It makes it feel deeper lore-wise. Like, if you want to bake something it's great that you go to Fantine, and if you want to make zombie-items through alchemy you go to to Weeper. You want to combine legendary weapons? Go to Ian! It adds more characters to Subeta and the world feels more lived-in, I love it!

The last time I baked something was when I was leveling to make the last new fantine bakery food I needed. The last time I used the zombie den was Lumi I think to make gifts. And the last time I crafted at genetech was this week I think. The last time I crafted scrolls was when I was going for the tiered achievement.

I like genetech the best out of all of them. It's fun to get items from lots of different places to make things and sometimes sets of things. Baking and Zombie den next. I like the idea of leveling and needing to put in effort and time to get what you want. But once I have everything I need copies of I only go back to make items as gifts. Scrolls least. I only crafted scrolls to get the achievement. I don't pretend to understand scrolls well but most of them that can be crafted don't seem like ones worth putting lots of effort into. Plus scrolls are harder to sell.

New: I also use Vanya on occasion. Usually in Oct-Dec to make toys to gift and a few to sell.

If we consider making nostalgic pets crafting,that was the only time I've done it, and that was at the latest in 2019.

The problem with crafting or anything in general is the crazy luck odds, the crazy market at the beginning that makes everything cost more than 20mil and the little amount of items, the not easy to use pages, many clicks.

So crafting may be nice but please make it easy on us.

I'm baking right now! I like how it unlocked foods that I can use for the gourmand achievement, but it does get very tedious once you have unlocked everything and still have a few levels left. There's nothing to really work towards once all the recipes are unlocked. Maybe 2-3 times a year I'll motivate myself to grind for a few days before burning out and forgetting about it for the rest of the year.

Genetech is the only crafting I've done and months ago. If it is a cheaper way to get something then I use it.

I baked something today because I got a food basket from the pools.

I like alchemy because you can choose how specific you go. If you want something specific, you can go token and colour but if you're not bothered then a token on it's own works well. I find alchemy fun as it's both predictable and unpredictable at the same time and as Quentin asks for the items, they're good to have on hand.

I'm waiting for achievements for baking and alchemy before I get serious about either of them though.

I also have a few of the other crafting things on my to do list but they're long term goals rather than something I'm planning to do immediately.

Maybe this isn't considered crafting because things aren't being combined but I craft with Jogoh pretty regularly for a while then don't again for months on end. I'd craft more if there were clear descriptions as to what can be combined to create things, like baking has, for other things. I don't like searching other sites to find instructions for how things are done here. I think a lot of newbies would benefit from clear instruction as well. My niece tried the site and abandoned it pretty quickly due in part due to not understanding where things are and what could be done once there. I get that part of being here is exploration but the user-friendliness could be improved upon. a bit.

I rarely use the crafting; maybe Vanya once in a while to catch up with nostalgic pet toys. Genetech is too tedious to use (you have to keep searching for the necessary ingredients to make stuff if you can find them). Baking is fun but gets too repetitive. Scrolls are fun to make but they are usually too expensive to bother with.

Last time for genetech crafting was not that long ago and only because I had a Drills quest to do that. (ha, right after posting Drills sent me there) Otherwise I don't use the genetech. The items I want from there I either made them years ago or the things needed are way too expensive.

Alchemy, not that long ago I think? I used it when Quentin asked for an item that was cheaper to make than pay usershop prices. I was trying to up my level on it but got bored making the same items over and over to just go up one level.

Baking, I quit sometime back. I probably would use it more (like when Quentin asks for an item) if there wasn't a wait time. This too I got bored making and waiting on the same items just to go up one level. (also the problem with the bee hive cornbread needs to be fixed)

Anything else that might be considered crafting, I most likely don't use at all (anymore), obviously as I've forgotten if there's anything else. lol

Crafting is fine but all of the systems, the alchemy shop in particular, need some hints in regards to what you might get. My favorite crafting-adjacent thing on the site right now is having Jugouh design clothing. It would be really interesting if all the crafting worked like that.

Last time I crafted something was during Luminaire, I mostly use the Alchemy dude to make gifts (and raise my Alchemy score!).... Alchemy is really the only crafting I ever do. Scroll components are too expensive for my cheap self and... I dunno I am salty about baking for some reason. XD I only ever use the Genentech lab if I need to make a Glacier potion. I actually like Alchemy a lot, though.

I sometimes craft for books but my Alchemy level is now 43 and it would be less boring if there were new things to make.

I've tried baking but found it easier just to buy the baked items I needed to feed my gourmand pet.

I haven't really done scrolls, simply because I'm still not sure how and how to use them. I only recently got into battling and will probably do more research in the future on this.

Alchemy I do all the time. I'm always lurking in The Alchove and Philosopher's Store. I especially like the books and wearables and the fact that Quests ask for items made at The Alchove.

I make Genetech items but usually the items needed to make certain things cost more than just buying the Genetech item directly.

I also put together map pieces for the achievement. However, the cost of the pieces is too high compared to the payout prize for constructing the maps. I find the frequency of certain map pieces being given out is rather low and that drives up the user shop price. :(

Oh, I throw sP into the Rift when I can, but not items anymore. I'm not sure if that's considered crafting?
