I’ve been here for 15 years and, according to the achievement tracker, have only caught one Lizard Minion. I cannot remember when that was, but it was definitely years ago. Not asking for easy or fast! But wondering if not impossible is an option. Or am I just incredibly unlucky with these guys?

You mean the "Capture a Lizard" achievement? You can only catch the actual lizards if you only have the trap or repellent in your inventory, having both guarantees you the item without also catching a lizard. If you want to catch more, you can just put one of the items in your vault for now (I'm not sure if having only the repellent works or if it's just the trap).

Do you have the achievement for catching one 15 times?! This is seriously one of those achievements that I’ve just shrugged off as impossible for a decade and just got worked up enough about it tonight to post on the forums, haha. If you have caught one 15 times, though, hope is renewed!

I remember being told years and years ago to always have both trap and repellant in inventory, but I’ll try just the trap and see what happens. Thank you for responding. 😊

No I haven't, but only because I haven't really bothered to remove the repellent or trap from my inventory. I might consider it if they added a prize, though.

I checked out of curiosity, being a member for 14 years, and I only have one lizard! oof. i've had the trap and spray in my invo for as long as it's been available.

I'm pretty sure you've gotta remove the spray to capture them. I remember going for this achievement years ago, and once I removed the spray, it didn't take me too long.

I had this exact same thought back in Nov, and put away my spray after having both trap & spray out for a dozen years. In 3 months I'm at 7 captures lizard minions (out of 10), so it really is pretty speedy!

Thank you. There’s definitely hope, then! My inventory looks so weird with just the trap. I’ve had them both there for over a decade and they just became essentially invisible. It’s funny that so many of us left both there for so long.

For "Capture a comatose lizard!" I have 5 and for "Taking from the Lizards" I have 3. I have been a member for 2 years, 6 months, 1 week, 3 days, and that's with a couple of hiatuses. So it's probably very possible to get these achievements :) I only have the trap.

I feel so dumb right now I just figured it was a broken achievement because the repellant has been perma-locked to my inventory.

Last week I caught my first lizard in at least a decade thanks to creating this thread. I think there needs to be an official Subeta announcement to all old-timers - Do not have BOTH trap and spray locked in your inventory for eternity. Pass it along!

First time ever in 11 years... I feel SO STUPID for having that damn spray locked in my inventory all these years.

... Join the club. I should start a support group: "Realized that the repellent actually repels after X years."

Once I get all the comatose achievements the repellent is going back in my inventory. Cage and spray mean you get the item the lizard is trying to grab. Nothing wrong with free stuff once it isn't preventing something better.
