You need the trap to get a comatose lizard.

huh, i seem to be having poor luck getting lizards despite doing my quests and BQs, still stuck at one with just the trap. ah well, i'm not too fussed about achievements on here, thankfully.

Wow... I didn't know that you had to get rid of the spray to catch them. Add me to the 10+ year gang who didn't know that. I really think Subeta could do with a weekly "Did you know about this feature" to remind people of little known facts after so long. =)

honestly this is such a good idea, been here what, 16 years? and there's even super basic stuff i either never learned or completely forgot about, lizards being just one of them lol

Unlocked Capture a Lizard! Capture a comatose lizard!

Random Event You notice a Binx on the ground, but right when you bend down to pick it up, lizard minions come out of nowhere and scurry off with it!

As the lizards attempt to escape, your trap fires, but instead of capturing the lizard minions, it hits them on the head... poor lizard minions! How could you? Shame on you! You shrug, and attempt to retrieve Binx, but the comatose lizard minion refuses to let go. You decide to stuff both into your pocket. You are so mean.

Finally!!! Last lizard achievement earned. Spray is locked back in inventory. Thank you for making this and solving an achievement mystery.

Y'know, I've never paid much attention to the lizard achievements but I just checked my own achievements page for them and, surprisingly, getting the required lizards can be done for all their related achievements. Without realizing it, after 15+ years on here, I actually managed to get ALL the tiers of their achievements. I only have the trap activated still in case some of the lovely lizards I catch carry items :)

I made this thread in late February and had one captured lizard at the time in 15 years on the site. I just got to five a few minutes ago. In just a little over three months.

Within the last... 3 years or so I only remember seeing them show up like... 10 times? Guess they really don't like me... or they are sick and tired of all the spray and traps.... haha.

This thread has turned into a support group of sorts for people who locked both spray and trap in their inventories about 100 years ago because…some sort of mass brainwashing?…and then someone came along and posted here and was, like, yeah…duh…remove the spray…it’s a repellant. And now we’re all catching them right and left hahaha.

Well if you have all the lizard achievements the spray and trap together are a good thing. They give you 100 % chance to get the item from the lizard random event. Where as just trap or just spray there's a chance the lizard can get the item instead.

….these additions had me thinking that people were treating the lizards like cats in a tnr scenario

oh. my. goodness! Thankfully I happened upon this thread. I put the repellant in my vault. I've had both the repellant and trap in my inventory for nearly a decade and havent caught any lizards. Hoping that will change!!!

Update for me - just caught my 9th lizard. One more to go! Hurray for the Repellant Repels Support Group!

19 Oct 2022 update - just caught my 10th lizard! I posted this thread 8 months ago and caught 9 lizards in that time and just got the last achievement. Thanks, everyone! ❤️
