: I broke the last Forum V.7, so it's time to make a new one.
I'm playing in the Atebus Jazz Review tonight in the Jazz Ballroom, adjacent to the main Ballroom. We're doing a Roaring 20's theme night, lots of Charleston, Lindy Hop, Foxtrot, Jitterbug and Shimmy dancing to the tunes like Jellybean, Pretty Kitty Kelly, Crazy Blues, Pale Moon, and others. I have a couple of trumpet solos too. (I play sorta like Harry James, only not as smooth...) Dress up in your best 'Flapper' or 'CoolCat' style and I'll see you there! 23-Skidoo !

Think and speak like the Great Gatsby
- Ankle: to walk
- βApplesauce!β: βHorsefeathers!β
- βBankβs closed!β: what you tell someone to stop making out
- Bearcat: a lively, spirited woman, possibly with a fiery streak
- Berries: like βbeeβs knees,β denotes that something is good, desirable or pleasing. βThat sounds like berries tome!β
- Bimbo: refers to a macho man
- Bluenose: term for a prude or individual deemed to be a killjoy
- Bubs: a womanβs chest

- Choice bit of calico: a desirable woman
- Darb: something deemed wonderful or splendid, similar to βberriesβ
- Dewdropper: like lollygagger, a slacker who sits around all day and does nothing, often unemployed
- βDonβt take any wooden nickels!β: βDonβt do anything dumb!β
- Dumb Dora: an girl with very little street smarts
- Egg: a person who leads an absurdly wealthy, extravagant lifestyle (see: Gatsbyβs βWest Eggβ)
- Four-flusher: someone who mooches off the money of others in order to feign wealth
- Gasper / Fag: cigarette
- Giggle water: liquor, alcoholic beverage
- βGo chase yourself!β: βGet out of here!β
- Handcuff: engagement ring
- Half-seas over: drunk to the extent of being sick.
- Hayburner: a car with poor gas-mileage, a guzzler
- Hotsy-totsy: attractive, pleasing to the eye
- Icy mitt: rejection from the object of oneβs affection, as in: βHe got the icy mitt.β
- Iron oneβs shoelaces: to excuse oneself for the restroom
- Jake: okay, fine, as in βDonβt worry, everythingβs jake.β
- Jorum of skee: a swig of alcohol, particularly hard liquor
- Know your onions: to know whatβs up or whatβs going on

Yea, one of the contests I was participating in got locked but I see they have made a new topic ^^ TY! Feels this took forever when it's only released earlier today π
They also increased the time cooldown for mystery dancing. It's now 15 minutes.
Apparently it was because people used it more than talking on forums and socializing.
...I have a feeling some users might not like that since they have social anxiety and avoid the forums for that reason.

Yes I was informed :( On the plus side I do see an increase in cscs rewards xD won't complain!
? Staff persuaded us to chat on the forums more? Isn't it normal for us to dance our heart out and minimize chatting slkdjflkdf
It seems that the Lag-O-Monster is attacking....holy moly the site is lagging. I guess when you offer a new feature, it breaks this site...still. And 15 minutes between Mystery Dances???? What???

Yeah, that would be the case IRL. But staff wants more forum chat so there you go.
The timer was increased because people used mystery dancing more than talking on forums and socializing.
Lag might be because multiple users have to make new forum threads at once.....
