& more items: here's a quick subetalodge search for all items containing the term "oriental". Using the term to describe items based on clothing, hairstyles, accessories, etc of varied Asian heritage is uhhhh pejorative & highly antiquated.
I honestly forgot these items existed and I even own some of them. I only noticed when going through the older wardrobe items. I will add that I am white and my opinion doesn't actually matter. This is just a suggestion based on what I've read on the subject and in response to the increased aggression toward Asian-Americans over the past year. I'm not trying to speak for anyone else.
I think these have already been mentioned in this thread. They haven't been changed yet, though, so it probably wouldn't hurt to bring them up again.

I think it's important to give these particular items a priority, even though they have been mentioned elsewhere.
All my support, every time I see the damn word I just kind of. Experience face-scrunching-up-ing. No real ideas for what word could replace it, but honestly you could remove it outright and the items would stand as they are just fine.
Support. As an asian american, that word has been used in a derogatory way toward me and my family. There's a better way to describe those items, surely. I'm also hating the item description for being in psuedo broken english with verbs conjugated incorrectly.

As a Chinese American myself, I deeply understand the toll of what our community has gone through, not just last month but throughout US history. These items were meant to be changed immediately, and the process for doing so was started, but the content team had a lot on their plate and apologizes for the delay.
I've just renamed the items and tweaked some descriptions. These items were all from the Brass Costume Trunk, which mentions a legend in its description, so I renamed the items to "Elegant (item) of Legend" and "Imperial (item) of Legend". See changed items here.
I also tweaked any item descriptions that needed an update, including the cherry blossom. Finally, I did a search and removed the word "oriental" from any other item descriptions that had it.
This should take care of official items. I'm currently discussing with how we'd like to handle CWs with the same issues. Those will be taken care of.

Hi everyone! Apologies for the delay.
I'm going through the custom items right now to rename ones that have "Oriental" in the name. In the interest of simplicity, all instances of "Oriental" are being changed to "Imperial". Unfortunately some of these CWs are very old and done by users no longer on site, and it's impractical for us to reach out to each submitter individually to ask for a change. That being said, - if one of your items has been changed and you have a different name you'd like to see, you can submit a ticket and we'll change it (as long as it's site appropriate!).

Oriental poppy is the name of a species of flower. I don't think that one should be changed to imperial but the word oriental could maybe just be omitted if necessary?
I know some people around Subeta think the Decepticons (the bgdc, kabbscabal and feralroses groups) just want to start trouble but these are the kinds of changes we've been asking and hoping for since forever.
