The site was down For 12 hours out of 2 weeks of events. I only knew bc I have a tendency to check at 2:46 AM.

THAT'S REALLY GREAT!

The beginning of the event didn't crash the site. There were a few pages that timed out, but it wasn't many and cleared up quickly. It was a little slow, but that also cleared soon.

This outage happened near the end of an event, where Wave 2 items have been out for a while. An there's still an extension.

I know Bug and the programmers always work hard, and just wanted to point out how smoothly this event has gone, in a year that hasn't been so smooth.

Morostide has been a smooth ride this entire time. Even the temporary downtime was nothing imo. A minor hiccup in an otherwise perfect holiday.

Super happy w/ this event too! The downtime this morning was an inconvenience (I prefer to quest when I'm still waking up as then it's more tolerable lmao) but not in such a way that I felt upset like I usually do when the holidays would tank (probably because it was at the tail end lol). I'm glad that staff got right to work when they saw the problem and were clear and open with what was going on.

Morostide has gone amazingly! I've played throughout the day every day since the event started (thanks working from home!) and other than an occasional page getting "stuck", which reloading usually fixes, everything has been really smooth. :)

I have been so SO impressed with how smoothly Morostide is going this year. Seriously, the staff programmers must be wizards. Thank you for all you do!

I'm glad that there was hardly any lag, that was probably helped by the sidebar SB being closed, I've gotten used to having the full page SB open in another window, and while it may not be ideal (like when I'm using my phone and having to change between windows), it's better than no SB at all flashbacks to Survival. I heard rumours about sidebar widgets being phased out or not included in the new website, I'd like to know more about that but it will probably be in one of those site update announcements.

I did run into a few 504 errors sometimes but I think I would have done anyway even if there wasn't an event on.

When the site first went down, I was more worried that it was something on my end, because at first some pages were blank but still mostly loaded, and my SB posts weren't going through even though my internet was fine, and I ran into an error when I tried to send a ticket, so I was actually relieved to find it wasn't just me when everything went white. And I thought we would get an extra day of Morostide, so it was a nice surprise to get two extra days.

Mechanically, it worked very well, and I'm really glad that we got an lag-less event, for the most part of it! The battling waves were well thought out, the new loot is gorgeous and overall, so far so good.

On November 3rd, I'll be able to say if it was the best Morostide ever, because we've yet to see a pet release and I want to see what we're getting this year before judging. I know it won't be like the early years, where we got 10-12 new pets, but not seeing anything released during Morostide do worry me a little.

Are we finally getting that spoopy taco experiment from Euclid? Or is the Nightmare Popoko gnawing on the servers' wires - and the reason of yesterday's outrage? But, that's good to hear.

I'm still waiting on some other things, so can't wait to give complete feedback for this year, but it's going good and I'm happy. :D

I wonder if they will be Bloodred, Nightmare, or Graveyard pets, or either of those? And since the Blob is available in all three of those, that one can be ruled out, so I can't wait to see which pets they actually are. (Wait, we DON'T have a Nightmare Popoko yet? For some reason I thought we did).

Yes, we've had a lot less pets this year, and no new Steamwork pets at all after only one last year, but one of the artists did say that they were "behind on pets" and that they were planning to release some of them outside of the seasons and holidays they're usually restricted to. Either that or they'll just share a news post with other new pet colours like we used to have more often.

It also seems like some colours go through phases where more are released than other colours, like Angelic and Riftborn. I guess it's similar to how some site features go through phases of having new items released, like how we got a lot of new items for Fine Fabrics and five Seven five last year, and a lot of new Alchemy items this year.

I appreciate all the challengers and how generous you guys were with new books this year.

Gotta say this Morostide has been awesome. The site has been shockingly free of bugs and lag, and that's amazing. Glad Bug was able to get some decent sleep! Thank you guys for all you've done and continue to do.

this morostide was my first ever one and i enjoyed it a lot, was also impressed to not even have noticed that the site crashed at any point (always happened late when i was offline) and only encountered small bugs with ToT links breaking sometimes. other than that it went smoothly and i loved all aspects. thank you !
