Hi!

I joined subeta last month, and had a lot of fun (and profit) restocking from Freyalise. But now they are gone and I'm feeling kind of lost because I don't know wich items are valuable, what shops should I be looking, I tried Subeta Lodge but they don't have a guide for that :(

Any advices or threads that could be helpful?

There hasn't been a restocking guide for ages. Any old ones you may track down are going to be completely out of date.

Your best bet is to pick a shop and start doing price checks. Things that sell well are generally quest related. You simply aren't going to make the same type of profit as you did from Freyalise anywhere else. Most shops will have only one, maybe two items that are valued in the 100s of thousands, some shops won't have any at all. You'll be looking at buying items that sell in user shops for 20-50K.

Once you're familiar with the items you're looking for in one shop, you can then start adding more shops.

Thank you! It makes a lot of sense, I'll start working on that and hopefully soon I'll get the hang of it.

Last question, do you reccomend any specific store to start with?

I'd go with a smaller shop - less things to remember.

I'd avoid expensive shops like all that glitters and Apocalyptic Apothecary - you can make great profit from those shops, but I feel like it takes a lot more experience.

Book nook and spells galore are good options. I think thimble & co might also be good. Weapons warehouse can be very profitable, but also has a lot of junk to pick through.

Subetalodge is helpful for this, just not directly. You can go to their item database and sort by both shop and userprice to see what's currently selling high. You can click on any individual item found in their item database to see the monthly and weekly trends of the price of the item.

In current Subeta happenings that are relevant here, just before this event we had a quest-a-thon which created demand for many items that usually don't have much of a demand. Their prices went up. Normally prices drop after. This time the Freyalise event happened right after the quest-a-thon so folks were concentrating hard on the Freyalise and not restocking elsewhere, so prices haven't dropped much from quest-a-thon highs and prices of some items have increased.

Be prepared for anything you buy within the next few weeks to lose a chunk of its resale value as the market settles down

as said, spells galore (though there are a lot of junk items in there) and book nook (similar problem to spells galore) are good! i would recommend weapons warehouse and defend and conquer as well. there's almost always multiple "rare" items in those worth around 30k. and their stock is much smaller so it's easier to notice the good things. personally, i would not recommend plushie parlor, bean me up, and minions market because their stock is just too big. but there are absolutely good things in there. oh, and never all that glitters - almost nothing in there is actually reasonably profitable. and some shops have only a few items that are worth it, but on the other hand this makes it easy to go in and check if said items are there without wasting much time. for example, i like to check trading card center every once in a while to see if there are any booster packs. in apocalyptic apothecary, besides the obvious (nightmare potion, reborn potion, etc.) the pylonics, while not generally rare (allegedly), are worth a decent amount and always sell. the sable smithy has the Steamwork Key Stone Mold to look out for. seedlings has the Ornate Floral Pitcher, and a few others (that i don't quite understand why they're so expensive - Field Aeanoid Root? Sunflower? why?).

and like said, subetalodge is a great resource. when i was trying to re-familiarize myself with restocking after a long break, i used subetalodge a lot. you can pick a shop (in the restock location field) and then filter by userprice and/or rarity. i generally only bother with things r66 and up, but the profit margin is up to you. (i stick with things worth at least 10x their main shop price)

and keep in mind things won't be as profitable nor sell as quickly from your shop as the freyalise items did. but if you're patient i think you can make decent profit from any of the main shops. (okay, some less so than others, but still)

sorry for the wall of text! but i hope it was at least a little helpful.

and

Thank you so much, you were all very helpful!

I'm excited to start learning and experimenting after all I read. It's funny that I didn't know that nightmare/reborn potion sold at the apocalyptic apothecary, I guess there's still a lot for me to learn haha

Well, I have a good idea of where to go now, so thanks for being so nice ❀️
