I have a wide variety of things including pokemon cards and lots of plushies specifically UFO/crane game plush from Japan :> what do you collect? :> I would love to see your collections
Vinyl, old cameras, Matchbox/Hot Wheels cars, comics, notebooks (not to write into but just to have them).
I collect plushies, but especially Build a Bears and Beanie Boos! I also collect furbies, dolls, frog themed items, and pins!
Dolls, especially Monster High. I guess I can also say I collect perfumes – it's not that I don't use them and have them just for display, but at the same time I know I have "a bit" more than I need, and I keep buying even more.
Books, fantasy sculptures, rocks and crystals, and skulls.
for many years i collected british vogue religiously, but when i moved to a different country, i had to stop ;; i still have them all in storage back home, though.
i recently started collecting gacha toys with some friends! it's fun to buy the blind boxes and 'unbox' together! but the disappointment when you don't get the toy you wants is painful lmao
I have a small fountain pen and ink collection. P:
When I got my first pen I was like "cool I'll never buy another pen again" but then you get more than one ink and you want to have multiple colors, and then you learn about different nibs and you want to try a variety, and you want to get your hands on pens of different design philosophies and aesthetics... the journey to finding the "perfect" writing instrument has been really fun for me.
i have a small collection of g1 my little ponies that i've gathered over the years (just counted - i have 16 of them).
i'm also interested in collecting gemstones, though i only have a handful right now - a fluorite sphere, three palmstones (labradorite, azurite, rose quartz), two small amethyst crystals, one small crystal that might be quartz, and a bunch of tumbled tiger's eye chips (came as a free gift when i bought the fluorite sphere).
I have... a lot of Amuse plushies (Alpacasso / Wooly the Sheep) and I collect anime figures. Several hundred of each at this point :|
Luckily going back to school made me slow down a bit and be more mindful with what I purchase, tbh I just need to get a mortgage already so I can have a real anime dungeon. |D

I mostly collect pokemon cards. I also have a lot of plushies and books as well.

Pinback buttons, sew-on patches, dice, and crystals/minerals/rocks. :)
This is going to sound weird, but my hubby and I collect My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic figurines. We have quite a collection. I also collect video games, especially Pokemon games, Sonic games, RPG's, and more!
Owned by a jet-black cat named Twilight! Meow!
I have some beanie babies. also some reborn dolls. not actively collecting anything though. sold all the pokemon cards (needed the money and they where just sitting around).
check out colors of the moon my coloring/reading and puzzling channel on youtube. Basically it's my hobby channel. I color, I read books regular and manga/graphic novels, and I do puzzles. I also do product reviews at ">Midnight rose reviews
My bulkiest collection are video games (700+ games), physical and virtual (downloadable) versions. Which contains also some double games (remakes of physical games).
I also collect plushies. I have a knack for vending machines and when a funfair is open, I normally get 2-4 plushies for 2€. So it's easy for me to get and collect plushies. I also get them through other funfair games like duck-fishing, raffle ticket booth, ballon shooting and sometimes can knockdown.
In my childhood my sister and me bought lots of Chupa Chups, because of the Caps in the 1990s. We still have them. We also have some other figurines from this time, but I can't remember the brand. They're in the cellar - like other stuff we collected as childs.
I also collect video game magazines from my country, mostly for the Nintendo handhelds and console. Dated back in 1997 with the start of the N Zone magazine. Another magazine I collected over years (but before the game magazines) was the comic-series called "Ghost stories" (translated name, not the official name of the comic-series) and "Ghost stories special" I collected them untill the publisher Bastei folded the print. I was also bought them in my childhood and youth during bric-a-bric.
Oh and I was collecting the Diddl writing pads with my sister (like the plushies, diaries, coin banks, bath towels, bedclothes and the magazine called "Cheese paper"). I also still have over 20 writing pads and use them sometimes for short messages, but I don't use them often.

(warning/disclaimer: all links (and discussion) presented in the spoiler before the "~~~" lead to images or talk of cleaned animal bones, non-"gag"/gory taxidermy, and one singular mummified possum, things that are little different to what one might see in a natural history museum. none is meant for shock factor, and description is given for each link. still, please proceed at own risk depending on your comfort level. considering what half the "spooky" pets look like on this site I don't think it should be a problem, but ymmv since they aren't fantasy animal drawings)
SPOILER (click to toggle)
my biggest collection (vulture culture stuff - animal skulls, bones, pelts, taxidermy, wet specs, mummies, etc)* is less "collection" and more "just a flat out hoard". yaaay hyperfixations lol :')
to be fair, I've been collecting for a decade and a half, and this was a LOT cheaper to do up until around 5 years ago when it went more mainstream and demand went up, but I still have taken over the entire basement to display about 3/4 of it rip... (tbf tbf, believe me, it was better than keeping it stuffed all in my bedroom, pun intended...)
*(all legally collected/purchased and allowed to be privately owned without permit within the state of Ohio, obviously, though unfortunately the disclaimer is sometimes needed when discussing the vc community...)
there's a lot of subgroups within it I focus on though, specifically juvenile skulls to compare to adult counterparts (ranging in size from stillborn brown bat that's half the size of a dime to bear cub the size of an adult coyote). best is when they have both their deciduous and adult teeth together, makes for some really wild dentition on some of them lol
I feel a really strong connection to opossums as well, and have multiple skulls I've reassembled, an entire skeleton I personally articulated and mounted, a soft mount (think "plushie but taxidermy") (which is actually also a juvenile!), mummified stages of development in shadow boxes, pelts with tails (which were nearly impossible to find even before prices jacked up eurgh...), a mummified head, two absolutely adorable taxidermized babies, and various other bits and pieces. (here's a few pics of some of my faves)
finally there's my gamut of fox color morphs, most of these are actually repurposed antique stoles if you can believe it! (they're certainly cheaper to get hold of that way, lol :p)
I do have other collections though! one in particular is a collection of every microraptor and archaeopteryx figurine that I can find. recently got my hands on basically my holy grail figure, the limited edition 2004 kaiyodo figurine that afaik only released in Japan!!!!! *o*
There's a few I'm missing still, since PNSO just released their new 2020 fig and it's like 40 bucks (their other one I still need is about 20+ since you can only get them from overseas rip)
one of my faves still is the retired carnegie figure, which was made before the whole thing with finding the pigments in the fossils happened, so it's this cool af almost phoenix-like coloring with black accents, versus the iridescent blacks we know they were now.
speaking of figurines, I managed to over around a year and haggling on secondhand apps, collect almost all of the mini vol 4 + 5 + 8 transformed!ditto combo sets! I don't have a picture of mine handy, but found the official images on google for y'all :p
speaking of pokemon though, I also have all the eeveelutions in figurine form too :D

I feel like such a professorial type of nerd. I collect books/literature, porcelain antiques like limoges and delft, and a very small wardrobe of luxury clothing that I save up for (I'm trying to avoid fast fashion). Anyone else secretly a reincarnated old person... No? Just me?? 😂
Not really the same thing, but I do collect stationary! What's your favourite fountain pen so far? Do you also do calligraphy? 😊
