Hi all - I hope this is the right page to post on. Apologies if not, please feel free to remove it :)

I've been reading books and sending scores in mystic spindles to increase LunaMoo's intelligence score to get a promotion in the job agency, but the score doesn't update at all so I can't get her promoted. I've read her countless books and sent scores about a dozen times in mystic spindles, but she's stuck at 227 and nothing seems to increase it at all.

Any chance someone could have a look please?

its best to not boost intel at the moment, as there is a pretty severe glitch right now where some peoples pets intel has been completely reset despite having read 1500+ books. i'd recommend filing a ticket if you can pinpoint how many intel points you got, but yeah. best to avoid doing anything else.

I wonder why this is happening to some people and not others. I read my pet two books and their intelligence updated just fine =/ I'll probably avoid reading books in the meantime though, which is a shame because we keep getting new books from Melody so who knows how many of those possibly didn't count.

same here, i havent actively been looking at my intel : / now im utterly terrified that my ap is going to be blasted, too.

Just checked and my reader's intelligence also dropped. OTL I filed a ticket. Hopefully this gets resolved soon.

My pet's intelligence went down to 1 from at least over 1300 :(

Why isn't this information somewhere visible?! I've been reading the new books to my pets but not checking to see if there was an actual increase in stats. Battle stats got screwed and can't be reset; what's going to happen with this?

Just checked Snafy's INT and it seems all the books I've read him have counted, but I'll stop since he still has quite a while to go (287/400) and I'd be pissed if the work so far failed to make a difference.

Wow! This is quite a huge glitch to not be mentioned anywhere! My reader pet does not seem to be affected though. Just bought the cheapest book he needed and read it and his intelligence did increase. I will definitely be checking when I read to him from now on though.

Yeah, this is super bad and definitely should have been announced. More than that, it should be fixed by now. If that is impossible, then if books are being wasted or it's the act of reading books to pets that can wipe their intel, reading books should be disabled. Like immediately. wtf.

I don't know if it's related, but I checked on my main pets to see if their stats were still intact, and their intel appears to be ok (although I have no idea if recent books have counted). But I also noticed that several of my pets said on their petpages that they've eaten zero foods. I knew that wasn't right so I clicked the link and the "foods eaten" page did show that they had eaten food and probably the correct number (idk). Refreshing the petpage after that filled in the correct(?) number of foods eaten from that page.

This site is such a mess right now.

I don't know how many of you are battlers or would be interested in this, but you might want to check out the OP.

thank you for the ping, I def. wanted to know this. My Melody books made it into my account search just fine, and my INT stat is still higher than my "books read" but... maaaaybe I'll hold off reading today's Melody book. Oh no, I've got to go check that CS Collection book I bought! 😬

I also have not been using Intelligence XP to boost my INT stat, could that be what's glitching (and why I've been lucky so far)?

I also didn't realize this was an issue and honestly have no idea if any of the books I've read to my pet counted or not. Getting books from gifts and Melody are appreciated but having already read them to my pet, I can't verify if they counted. I also have been using stat boosters on my battle pet..again, unable to verify if they counted now. All these site issues are getting to be a bit much. I don't know if I should put in a ticket just to be told there is no issue but I also don't want to be screwed on this as I have been working on this gourmand/reading/battle pet since I started here.

I'm heartbroken and not sure what to do.

Well, this is horrible - I have been reading all my pets all the new books and in general just reading books to them no realizing it had a glitch. :/
