Melody Regular Achievement Not Added/Visible

Repeating myself from last year (when it did eventually get fixed, thank you). Melody Regular Achievement Not Showing? . Even more important this year with how many things are still broken on the site in general/the achievement's existence not being mentioned in the news post. Unless we're skipping Melody Regular because of the lag and continuing issues from maintenance (sad but honestly not the worst idea). RN I know I worry about even using the site/my account and it further messing up stuff - including things that are supposedly 'fixed' but not at all fixed for me - that when I thought about today being December 1st I had to decide whether or not to bother. There are times I think about making that same decision regarding the site in general, tbph.
<p>It would be nice if they could either go back to being visible or we could have some other way to see our streak tracking. Having it there was handy to make sure your visits were counting properly and quickly and easily seeing if you&;d missed a day. It&;s a lot easier and smoother (for staff too) to be able to make a ticket or bug report as soon as you notice the issue vs the influx of tickets on the 25th/31st when people aren&;t awarded an achievement. Not to mention the detail of knowing exactly when you missed/there was an error vs &;I swear I went&;.</p>
<p>It&;s awkward that the only real way to double check that you&;ve visited/visited every day is to check your items against a user-run thread and then just hope the achievement is working properly in the background. Maybe if we&;d never had issues with days counting that would be ok, but it is unfortunately a pretty regular hiccup.
Edit: I've been checking to see if the achievement was added yet every time I've visited Melody and yesterday and today (at least, possibly slightly longer) I haven't been able to get the achievement page to load beyond the rotating circle graphic at all. Probably just a separate new bug, but it was loading when I checked day 1 to see if it was there.
Edit 2: Honestly I'm disappointed. I understand the desire to have this be a "surprise" but that kind of goes out the window when it becomes an annual thing. At least last year you hinted there was a reason/reward to visit every day. You've also just hidden the prize before, which worked decently well. Right now - a time when the site is talking about how important it is to attract and retain new people - said new users are likely getting kind of hosed.
Not gonna lie I'm still very much sad it's not out YET and it's inching ever so closer to the 25th.... I feel very anxious because some days glitched when getting my items and I worry it might have affected my counter... x.x
The lack of some kind of counter is playing havoc with my anxiety.
Same, especially since I work nights/until midnight so I have to wrack my brain to make sure I visited every day (Which due to lack of counter, I missed a day :( ) I hope this comes back
I'm thinking of all the anxious people over there and it makes me kind of sad. Honestly - I feel like the site has been neglected. I'm still getting a lot of issues with the site itself and Luminaire does not feel like Lumi at all.
Hopefully, we get a counter soon tho! This is always welcomed.
It does feel like we're getting nothing but radio silence from staff on all these matters. Where are they? Why are they not communicating with us?
I know I haven't been the nicest or respectful towards staff, not in the slightest. I'm sorry, and I mean it. :( Even though there are some rather vitriolic users like me around, doesn't mean everyone else should be punished by being left in the dark. I feel as though them not talking to us, the users, just adds to the frustration on both ends.
If the site is going to go belly-up at the turn of the new year, then just say it already. I want someone on staff to be forthright about what is happening. We're all adults here, talk to us about it, instead of skirting around the problem or pretending nothing's wrong. Set the tone and be honest.
Having an anxiety disorder, everything that's been happening with the site as of late has got me on edge. I know deep down inside I'm terrified about the prospect of the site dying. Being here so long, it's worrisome.

Sorry guys, I posted on the Melody thread that the achievements would be added at some point during Luminaire. I was just waiting for the rad achievement prize!
I also did a staff post earlier today about if you say your day visit at 0, visiting Melody today will fix that! We keep records of each day you visit in the database, so there was never any issue of that not being tracked. Achievements can be finicky sometimes, which is why I mentioned tagging me if the achievement didn't update after visiting Melody!
In the future, please please tag me on threads like this! I'm more than happy to explain what's going on because this is a thing I actually can give y'all information on. I know everyones been a little miffed about the lack of communication on some bug reports, this is a communication thing I can do tho!!

I am so happy this has finally been added, my eyes are watering. Getting the achievement every year is still incredibly stressful but now I have a way to immediately reduce my anxiety when I panic that I may have forgotten to visit or the site didn't count it. THANK YOU
Immediately felt a huge sense of relief when I went to check my achievements and saw I've managed to visit all 22 days so far. I thought I had, but without any way to double check I was constantly getting anxious just thinking about it. Now just wait, I bet I'll forget one of the remaining days because I've fallen into complacency.
Ugh im at 21/25. Was so sure I had gone every day! Time to work out what i missed
Yeah, I didn't stress about missing a day because I honestly figured the total radio silence here meant it wasn't happening due to issues. I also checked staff posts when making/updating this thread, so either that post wasn't tagged or was way later than the start of Lumi.
More than a little disappointed.
