This lesson contains a PRACTICAL assignment.
"Over the years at Hogwarts, I've seen Quidditch fans cheering on their teams with so many creative props from the stands. I'd love to hear your feedback on the tournament while we make signs, banners, pennants, and really anything you'd like, to bolster your team during matches. The four teams have some incredible official merchandise and Quidditch supplies that I find really inspiring. They come from such diverse and rich cultures as well. You may use any medium you see fit, as long as it is something you've created."
All students who participate in this lesson will receive 15 Tournament Points. Bonus points may be awarded.
This lesson is due Friday, September 6th at 11:59 PM.

Not sure if I understood correctly, but here's my fan avatar art

Kat- Japan This is for the japan flag and the cherry blossom trees that are in Japan.

Toru - Greece
Being in the Art Club, I try to be as crafty as possible. It's been a while since I did any paper crafting, and I couldn't help myself when I found some paper in the perfect shade of blue!

"I read once that Russia had live real bears dressed in clothing with street preformers. I don't know how acurate that is, but I loved the idea. So to represent Russia, I got some help from my mother and sewed a little bear out of teeshirt fabric. Then I knitted the Russian flag colours Red, blue and white. And tada, Dmitri bear is done. I'm happy with the results."
Lily Rose--Russia.
(Enjoyed making them both lol even if the scarf was supposed to be flat and wound up being sewn in a tube because it wouldn't cooperate.)
Poppy was pleased by the lovely outfit Rox designed. One of her favorite things to do at international Quidditch matches was to check out the crowds to see what kinds of team spirit gear they were sporting. The flag and cherry blossom art Kat was working on was charming. Cherry blossom was such a beautiful motif, and perfect for Team Japan. Toru was deftly and delicately putting together paper craft in honor of Greece. Its precision was brilliant. The Russian scarf around Lily's teddy bear's neck made Poppy smile. The bear was so cute and Poppy was a sucker for that little knit scarf.
She was happy that the students were enjoying her creative gathering, and hoped to rekindle old friendships and make the acquaintance of some unfamiliar faces. In the mean time, she would get started on her own project just for fun.

Sebakhin found a table with acrylic paint and set to work. Earlier in the day he had acquired a breezy linen Hogwarts House scarf (not telling what one) and used the Colovaria charm to remove all the pigment from it. Onto this new canvas he painted orange and green stripes, to both mimic the stripes of a traditional house scarf and also portray the colors of the Indian flag.

While waiting for the paint to dry on the scarf he busied himself with painting a small hand flag as well as a long leather strap he would use to tie back some of his hair. Sure a scarf was an irregular choice for some people during summer months, but Indian and Egyptian culture involved the use of scarves almost all year round.

Sebakhin - India
If I used images that weren't done by me but I assembled them all using an art program like photoshop, does it count?
thank you! Here it is ^^ (that snitch was a hell of a nightmare XD as far as it goes, I don't recommend low light and doing it past midnight...)

Mae Kerian for team India!

Aria was having such a blast in her new art class. She was feeling rather prideful of her favorite team in Russia and decided to use her art skills to create one of the coolest witches Russia has ever had on its team: Muray Flintrostich.

I really really extremely want:
Sebakhin's work was so impressive. His own roots seemed to be at the very least deeply in tune with the culture of his team. Mae's flag themed piece was sure to give Team India a boost. The Snitch in particular looked great. Aria's portrait was beautiful. Quidditch in the snow seemed both fun and challenging.
Poppy continued to work on her craft, occasionally making sure there were plenty of supplies for everyone to experiment with. She wondered who else would walk in through the door and what kinds of art projects she would get to see next.

Gwenyfar decided to design a Kimono to represent both the Japan team and Quidditch in general. She added flyers and the hoops of the goals to the sleeves. As well as a silhouette of Hogwarts to pay homage to her school. A Snitch charm rounds out the outfit.
Gwenyfar - Japan

Gwendolyn Hayes - Russia
I'm not the best, so...here's what I've got? I think it turned out okay for me having zero artistic talent or experience XD

Many of the girls gathered were dressed well and showed an interest in fashion. Both Leala and Gwenyfar designed fan outfits. The former's was sweet in its simplicity, and the colors really worked together. The latter's was marvelous, it was definitely something that could even be marketed and sold as official merch. Gwendolyn's bold flag sign was eye-catching. There was no mistaking which team she was pulling for.
ooc:
I'll catch up on any RP that happens while I'm away on vacation. Loving all the takes on this so far!

Lorcan sat around, doodling for a while and thinking. He didn't have a way with fashion, so he thought about possible solutions for this lesson. Then finally he had a good idea - at least he hoped so. Carefully, he started scribbling on the paper. As he was finished, he was unsure. It looked how he imagined it, but it seemed to be...childish for a guy who was 16 years old. But oh well. He still liked his idea.

Lorcan W. Tierney for Japan
tam: i dunno any of the quidditch players names even but shes REALLY PRETTY
edit: forgot to give her ears the first time DX
(tamara darkhorse for india. based the picture off one of the indian quidditch players in the photoshoot lineup we were given for the game day challenge)

Drew had seen plenty of flags flying but he wanted to design something different...something a fan could take home and use again and again and be reminded of the games they had watched. With a lot less skill than enthusiasm and ideas, the youth began to sketch his creation. The mug had gold and blue around the rim in the team colors and the handle was a golden wing, symbolic of the fleetness of the Greek god Hermes as well as the swift Greek Quidditch team. The designs circling the mug include laurel leaves at the bottom and a traditional Greek pattern at the top. The lightning bolts herald the power of Zeus, ruler of the Greek gods, but also could be a nod to the famous Harry Potter's scar. The traditional design between the bolts resembles a snitch and so Drew included it as a reference to Quidditch. Now if only I was a better artist Drew thought to himself.
