So I decided to bring two of my stand-alone characters together as pen pals, simply because I like having characters in groups and these two are both very lonely otherwise.

I just want a couple of items in their treasures that indicate they are friends and talk to one another through written letters. The problem I'm having is many great friendship items are referral shop exclusive, and many letter items do not appear to be plantonic.

But maybe I'm just not looking in the right places! Anyone willing to throw me a bone?
