I'm probably going to flesh this out into a more fully formed guide with lower level build guides but this build was overpreforming what I hear most people talk about with low level battling that I thought that I would post the build, my weapons, scrolls, and which challengers I have been able to beat.
This is not nescacarilly a begineers guide to battling, but intended more for people leveling up 2nd and up pets, although I would probably reccomend the build for priamary pets, people training their first pet may not have access to some of the scrolls that really push the build.
What I had been doing is training evenly up to 300/300/300/300 and then going for straight HP to get to 900/300/300/300 as the build that you hit Tier 5 with.
I have also been training intel to 960 immediately to be able to have 60 AP and 4X 15 AP scrolls very early on.
What I have personally been using with the build is: [Item=Gorgun][Item=Lambent guardian crystal][Item=Trident of the banished one][Item=Shinwas Temple Shard][Item=Phoenix Quill][Item=Rainbow Quill][Item=Amulet of Drakkonis] 4x EOR mods spread over the LGC and Trident [Item=Tasseled Aegis Scroll][Item=Gift of the Forj Scroll][Item=Gift of the Forj Scroll][Item=Gift of the Forj Scroll] [Item=Glaciating Pylonic][Item=Negating Pylonic][Item=Mercurial Throwing Vial][Item=Revivifying Pylonic]
And while that set is billions of sP and is the gold standard for Low tier battling this set would probably get you 85% of the results:
[Item=Gorgun][Item=Malevolent Grimfruit][Item=Replica Minotaur Knocker][Item=Shinwas Temple Shard][Item=Phoenix Quill][Item=Rainbow Quill][Item=Amulet of Drakkonis] [Item=Aftershocks Scroll][Item=Gale Force Scroll][Item=Gale Force Scroll][Item=Gale Force Scroll] [Item=Glaciating Pylonic][Item=Negating Pylonic][Item=Mercurial Throwing Vial][Item=Revivifying Pylonic] *Morosbane Scrolls could also work here, but they tend to spike in price a lot where, Gale Force is always availible in the battle shop.
And the results that I'm getting is that I can get 10x wins on every one of these opponents: Aboxalypse Buttwing Bomber Eclipse Pock, Saper and Riscors Angry Angry Arnold Coeli Esmerelda Phungis Technicant Willowisp Cursed Irion Erdoo Manticat Mephysto Muffin Man Oslyae the Amazonian Montre Tide Vulty Blood Bat Bubbles Deadly Bella Grumpy Fish Javir Lizard Minion Rictus Som Waradorstiltskin Canaak Dust Bunny Mechalag Pete Gingembromme Jim Johannes Nependeathicus Nightshade Torroweep
With Battle Quest wins Possible on all opponents up to level 15 and these these higher level opponents: Lv14-19 FeliBot 1.0.1 Fish Breath Jacques Slavam Meatslab, the Resting
Lv20 Lightning Sylph Moradon
I've been able to get most of these wins in between my leveling up from 300 evens to the 900/300/300/300 build.
I think Once I hit T5 with Dr. Beatd0wn, I might try to optimize builds for Tiers 1-3. I have a feeling going to 300/300/300/300 is probably not the ost efficient way, I just had a lot of pets trained that way from when auto training was efficient. Also The fact that I trained speed at all was probably wasted since I am beating challengers much faster than me, and it would really only make a difference if I was going to go for a couple hundred wins on challengers. The speed stat is not very well balanced in the early game.

This is very relevant to my interests, thank you!

Although a lot of health helps, I think the more critical thing at low tiers is the scrolls you can equip. They are probably more powerful than the weapons you are using at tier 4/5 stats. I wouldn't bother optimizing tiers 1 and 2 since you can easily get to tier 3 in a few weeks just by using the training center/ egg boosters.
I don't have some of the challengers you have unlocked, but these are all of the challengers I have beaten with my "higher" intel T5:
Aboxalypse Buttwing Bomber Eclipse Pock, Saper and Riscors Technicant Willowisp Cursed Irion Erdoo Manticat Mephysto Muffin Man Oslyae the Amazonian Montre Tide Vulty Canaak Daemon Dust Bunny Mechalag Pete Angry Angry Arnold Coeli Esmerelda Phungis Blood Bat Bubbles Deadly Bella Grumpy Fish Javir Lizard Minion Rictus Som Gingembromme Jim Johannes Mama Mush Maybel Nependeathicus Nightshade Torroweep Mother Mallarchy Forj Matriarch, the Dormant Fruit Punch Decidiwi Forj Matriarch, Rekindled
I haven't done BQs with him yet because I am still focusing on my main two pets, but I could sacrifice one day to see how far he gets. I need to get more intel on my T4 before I work on these challengers with him:
Mama Mush Maybel Mother Mallarchy
Honestly, I think the scrolls are key. You are grossly overpowered if you use them correctly. I always crank intel for my tiny pets and just let auto training and exp/eggs from all the easy/med challengers do the rest of the work in the early Tiers. Since I'm mass producing battle pets, my low tiers don't get to BQ. Old year battle goal threads show small pet progress if anyone is interested.
I guess the counter to this entire thread would be to try out an early high STR build or an early high defense build.
Early high strength with 8 bombs and 4 morosbane scrolls might be interesting.

My T4 is going to be a high def build. I can mess around with his stats so that he has high def before T5, but I don't think it will be as beneficial as high health. So far though he as able to get to and complete level 15 easily. It's the very hard challengers that give him trouble because he doesn't have enough health I think
Also, high def isn't worthwhile for early builds. The weapons are highly imbalanced towards attack, and generally lacking in defensive icons until around tier 10.
The bigger problem with speed at low levels is since it is an on/off switch speed needs start to matter around the time you are fightning the opponents, and for the most part that means that of all the challengers I listed, their highest speed should be around 400 to make speed matter for those challengers, probably even lower. But the stats were basically distributed so they would all be close to each other, instead of compared to the pets that would be facing them down.
I forgot about lucky scrolls since I think I only have 1 of those, haven't really thought it was worthwhile to go farm more since they are so niche, but ya your right lucky would probbaly be the gold standard there.

I have 16 Lucky scrolls. They also come in handy for grinding wins on challengers with pets big enough not to have much hurt them. Piles of boosters and amulets in no time.
Alright my “speedy” T5 can get to level 15 no problem. Levels 16-19 opponents he can beat: Slavam The hustler (takes some luck) Meatslab, the resting Fish breath Jacque Felibot
I think that may actually be all the very hard challengers for BQs so he should be able to get to level 20 fairly easily, depending on how many hustler challenges.
Level 20: Lightning sylph Recycle beast Scary Singer Skeletal warrior (need to steal and use the claymore)
I’m sure my set is not ideal but he does have 49 AP, using TA and gotf scrolls. I may swap the forj scrolls with shrieks to try chain freezing the ones like the sylph and slavam that have lower health and a good chance to freeze.
His stats: Health: 550 Strength: 604 Defense: 500 Speed: 842 AP: 49
Not using shards or pylonics at this time.
I feel, if you train unevenly in the beginning, you are grossly limping behind later? I made a calculating error with one of my latest fun pets, wanting to be able to still use the beginners eggs on him and trained level only, when I could have progressed with the other stats still while keeping him below T4 and regretted the unnecessarily added training time, which slowed down his progress immensely.
I use up XP on strength, if I want to rush towards the next Tier, because it makes much more difference in the beginning and hitting harder allows to finish faster with less likelyhood of dying in a longwinded battle.
With no doubt int is a major and easily achieved key in low tier battling. I never autotrain. Too expensive, when I nowadays can log on with my mobile any time to put pets into training again.
What stats did your pet have? I know, as I have done it before myself, that having a higher health build early on is always adventageous. I started when my pet was T5/T6. He’s mid T11 now and he’s been able to beat challengers that T12 and even T13 pets struggle with.
What we are looking at is the best build to gain as much exp early on as possible and whether it’s from boosting a certain stat or intel. Considering how junky the low tier weapons are, the scrolls you can equip are more critical I think. It would be interesting to see how far an evenly trained T4/T5 with high intel can get in BQs.
He must have been a little above 150 sans speed, in the 90 minutes training range. He could already be T6 now instead of only T5.
But was level the only thing you trained at the time? Training level has no added value unless you are using it to train other stats.
Yes it was, because I was in error about the amount of stats allowed for using the beginners eggs that were still coming in at the time from other tiny ones.
It was just meant as an example regarding my initial thought, that early uneven training slows down later progress, when you try to improve the formerly neglected stats.
Unless of course, you TRAIN evenly, but use your XP to push ... health or any other stat.
ok my high def T4's stats:
Health: 500 / 500 Strength: 501 Defense: 751 Speed: 7 Intelligence: 721 AP: 45
Opponents he can beat outside of BQs (x10): Aboxalypse Buttwing Bomber Eclipse Pock, Saper and Riscors Technicant Willowisp Cursed Irion Erdoo Manticat Mephysto Muffin Man Oslyae the Amazonian Montre Tide Vulty Canaak Daemon Dust Bunny Mechalag Pete Angry Angry Arnold Coeli Esmerelda Phungis Blood Bat Bubbles Deadly Bella Grumpy Fish Javir Lizard Minion Rictus Som Gingembromme Johannes Jim Mama Mush Maybel Nependeathicus Nightshade Torroweep Forj Matriarch, the Dormant Fruit Punch Decidiwi Forj Matriarch, Rekindled
BQs: Can easily beat level 15 and below Level 16 - 19 opponents are giving him a tough time Level 20: Lightning Sylph
No pylonics or shards used
I almost never use the training center (after this last update I was using it for a couple days in a row, but then it got tedious for me again so I stopped). However if I understand the training center correctly, you can use EXP to uneven train your stats and not lose out on anything if you keep your level where the rest of your stats are. For example:
Level: 123 Health: 908 / 908 Strength: 307 Defense: 307 Speed: 304 Intelligence: 976 AP: 61 Tier: 5
The HP was all from EXP and BQs, where the 300/300/300 other stats were mostly from the training center. I haven't lost out on any training time by training HP, its just that I will probably never train HP in the training center ever again.

O.k., I see, that's why I said:
Ya thats how I think most people are doing it. Push uneven off EXP, and then just keep training other stats.
Your no speed builds are making me super jealous in terms of trying to beat challengers as early as possible :P . I bet an early T4 could get through 19 with no speed.
