I see what you mean now after cleared things up. You had me super confused. Yes, the way I have been building my uneven pets is to use experience and boosters to boost the stat I want and then everything else is just being trained evenly with the training center until I decide I don't want to train those stats anymore.

Yeah I did the high health build already so my other pets I am playing around with high strength, high defense and high speed. I think the problem I am having right now with levels 16 - 19 is just not the optimal weapons a defense build needs. I am relying heavily on my scrolls.

BQ Levels 1-20 are easy with the exception of the hustler. What stat would you train from here to either beat the hustler consistently or try to get wins on the 21-24 challengers?

I have captain to step in and give extra skips.

I'm leaning towards HP or STR but at T6 I get access to MSOB and CWS again, and those things are powerful with defense.

The hustler will take luck at T5, but I would focus on strength for a bit, then train health 3:1 strength. I know had a T6 pet that could beat everyone except sanddragon and saggi for battle quests with around 1500 HP and 1k strength and could consistently get through BQs from level 1-25 by T7. You could still do it with less strength so maybe 4:1 if you want to keep focusing on a health buffer. GE (in addition to sanddragon and saggi) was the only one giving me a problem at T6 with 1.1k health and 800 strength.

Thanks. I know the title was high health build, but that was refering more towards what my results had shown up till this point, I'm not married to health alone. I'm mostly just trying to figure out the most efficient way to progress.

If a 1000/1000/0/0/960 pet gets better results, i'll change the name :P

I think you might be right though, I think my biggest road block at this point might just be the weapons I have availible. And Once I hit T6 and rank up my LGC and Trident A bunch of battles are going to go from impossible to easy.

NVM, Went up to 400 STR/1000 HP and he seems easy now. Got the win within about 3 attempts.

I think with just the way low tier weapons are constructed, high health with high AP will always be the best way to gain the most exp. My T5 that is mostly speed instead of health didn't have too much trouble against the hustler with 550 HP but he was relying on blocking the spork or stealing a good weapon to do more damage. If you had stronger weapons at low tiers, then I think having 1k strength at a low tier will make things more interesting.

What are the speed builds stats?

He and the skeletal warrior are the only opponents I would recommend using the truth serum on. Stealing and using the claymore from the skeletal warrior essentially stops him from doing damage to you.

His stats right now are Health: 550 Strength: 604 Defense: 500 Speed: 881 Intelligence: 842

I would like to get his speed up to at least 1.5k. I think by then I will start seeing noticeable difference between him and when my higher health pet was at T6

Thats interesting, I was guessing the speed was going to be higher. It's probably more your STR thats getting you the win on that one.

Yeah I listed back in an earlier post he can clear 1-20 pretty easily. It just depends on how many hustler challenges come up that it might take a few tries

Have you noticed any changes in BQ difficulty since the changes

I am still messing with speed, but I have been focusing more on getting a third pet ready for nightlady in nov.

With my speedy pet, I’ve noticed that just surviving crit hits isn’t enough, he needs to be able to crit hit as well. I’m seeing the effect that slaglord has where my pet will not crit hit even if his speed is greater if my opponent has a much higher defense. I chose to up strength instead of health only because it’s already well established that high health builds help you beat harder opponents early on. I am still looking at how much of a difference it really makes (ie: my health pet got 7 wins on x challenger at T6 and my speedy pet no wins on x challenger at T5 vs my speedy pet got 5 wins on x challenger). I also want to get his intel up so they are comparable.

I have not noticed any changes since my T7 pet was getting quests 1-20 and my early T12 pet is getting quests 21-30. However, they are both high health builds and I know opponents like the cake, menecuda, and a couple others are a lot harder for a pet that doesn’t have 6k health.

Tomorrow I will give the quests to my speedy pet and see how far he gets now. He is at 1.3k speed and 700 strength

That pet is T7 correct? Just going by the list you posted in your new BQ challenger thread, when my pet was at 1.6k health in T7 he could beat Gatekeeper, mornrise Serpent, Slaughtersaurus, Cursed Effigy, the Tormented. At around 1.9k hp he could beat Batista, but wasn’t worth the effort for BQs. I don’t have surge or the Sphinx unlocked so I couldn’t try those. Saggi was too hard for him because I didn’t have the right weapons in T7. He just turned T8 now but I’m sure he could beat the guys giving him trouble in T7 now that he had access to different weapons

[edit] I just tried sanddraggon and GE using my T7 set since he’s literally 4 stats into T8 and I’ve only been dumping into health anyway. He couldn’t beat sanddragon and GE gives him a hard time without the use of LGC, but he did get wins.

ya very early t7 like 100/1000 stats in.

I just tested slaughtersaurus and it was an easy fight as well.

I might mess around with Batsta a bit then to figure out what the most efficient path foreward is.

Ok for my T6 pet, jollyjaw does make BQs 16 - 19 more difficult, but he can beat him. He's probably the equivalent of the hustler in luck/difficulty. Level 20 insight was no problem.

I didn't get any of the new challengers for levels 21 - 24 to test out.
