I gathered up the items to make the Homemade Chocolate Cake last night and all the green check marks appeared next to the item on Fantine's page but I keep getting the Oh No! You don't have all of the ingredients to make that!

So this morning I went back and the canola oil and the cocoa powder disappeared from my inventory. Then just a little while ago the coconut milk disappeared from my inventory and Fantine thinks I don't have the milk when I did have it last night. I had buy a another milk product to complete the ingredient list.

That is three items I had to replace because of this glitch.

If she thinks you don't have all the ingredients, she will filch some more ingredients out of your inventory, you have to leave and come back again. It's always been like that from the very beginning of Baking with Fantine.

Refreshing from within the baking page is almost always guaranteed to produce a fail.

Yes, that is what happens. NPC Fantine has always done this.

All items can be green and she'll tell you that you don't have an item. If you are smart and navigate away, then she will have only stolen that one item. If you refresh within her shop (say if you bought the item she says you didn't have in another tab) she steals more stuff and tells you you don't have those items.

The last time I did any baking was back in October 2018 when the new pumpkin-based items came out. It was "working" as I had described at that time. It was especially vexing because Pecans are rare and were going for half million sP apiece at that time. Losing a whole stack of them is a pain.

I've been using my holiday down time to read books for my battlepets and eat foods for my eaterpet so I haven't done any BwF lately. I don't know what to tell you about this, only that staff have reported not having problems with it in the past. .

I've never seen this problem in all the time I've been baking and refreshing the page to see which items I have.

So if it's always worked this way for some people, it's never worked this way for at least one (me). I've done a lot of baking and am level 18 in it, and Fantine's never once stolen anything from me.

For that reason, I think it would definitely be helpful to give Solsticesprite the stuff, because the problem might not happen for many other people...

It appears I missed your post, thank you for following up. The reason I didn't file a Ticket for the Pecans is because I supposed Baking with Fantine game worked that way and Subeta Rules do not reimurse for user error.

I will stop doing zapping and try some bakes and see. If I'm the only one though, it's very likely not anything Subeta is doing. I don't have good control of my fingers and could very well have done something stupid. In RL I might be upset, but Subeta's just a game.

[edit] error number one. I accidentally double clicked on "bake" and it used up two of my Eggs. I had five, and now I have three. It appears to take randomly from available items? But it also took two of other items also. 1500 SST 21 April 2019

"Come back in x minutes" I had deliberately opened two other separate tabs to Inventory and refreshed one of them to check and see by clicking back and forth.

[edit] I had just finished that bake so I started a new one. Carefully only sliding the mouse onto the button and gently left tapping the mouse button with my other hand I was able to click it only once, and it only took one of each of my required items this time.

I deliberately double clicked (at least) and it threw the error message that it normally throws when you either try to bake something when you are already baking or when you refresh on the "x minutes left" page. Switch comparing my Inventory tabs shows only one of each recipe item was taken.

All of the baking ingredients are very cheap to me. The repair to the game is my reward and figuring out what to be reimbursed by is too much trouble for both me and you IMO. I would prefer to not do that, please.

I'm still trying to break it by double clicking on other pages, and I will try to remove both all of one type of required generic item and see how it responds and all of one required specific item and see how it responds.

[edit] 1827 SST 21 April I ran out of butter while also running out of one of the main ingredients. I went and bought more butter, then refreshed on the page. It says I can't make it. Going back to the page it acknowledgee the butter with a green check. Pressing the "bake" button still says I don't have that ingredient. it is necessary to navigate away from the Baking With Fantine game and then back before the change in Inventory is actually noticed (as opposed to being green-checked but not acknowledged).

I can confirm that it's no longer stealing ingredients for me. I tried several ways to get it to do that with Chrome OS and Chrome Broswer on a ThinkCentre chromebox. I tried approaching it all three ways and I did not succeed in getting the steal-ingredients error again

I did the green-checked but not actually recognized as present by the game once for a generic ingredient and once for a specific ingredient, so it was replicatable at least once. Do you want me to try and break it, how many tries will be satisfactory?

I've been baking for several weeks and haven't had a problem until today. I just tried to bake a -- I had all of the items in my inventory. When I clicked the "Make Pumpkin Danish!" button, an error page came up (I believe it was Error 504, but not 100% certain). Without much thought, I refreshed the page. It took me back to Fantine's Bakery, but all of the ingredients I used disappeared. If it helps, the browser I am using is Firefox 65.0.1.

This just happened to me twice in a row. I had just restocked two Red Apples and I went to try to make Apple Spice Cake. After taking out the other ingredients from my shop/vault, when I went to Fantine each item showed with a green check mark. I clicked "Make Apple Spice Cake!" and nothing happened; it didn't even show that another page was loading. I clicked again and it gave me an error message that said I didn't have the ingredients. I went back to the page for Apple Spice Cake and it showed that Plump Yellow Apple and Ground Cinnamon were missing but everything else still had a green check mark. I had multiple copies of everything else in my inventory, so I'm not sure if Fantine "ate" some of the extra copies or if it only "ate" those two items. I assumed I had been mistaken so I took out another Plump Yellow Apple and Ground Cinnamon from my shop. All the ingredients had green check marks again, and the same thing happened. Now it says I'm missing Plump Yellow Apple and Red Apple, but I still have the other ingredients. Again, I had multiple items on hand though so I don't know if it "ate" some other ingredients, too. Needless to say, it doesn't say I have anything currently baking.

I am navigating the site on Chrome (75.0.3770.101) on mobile (Pixel 2); let me know if I can provide more information.
