i owuld like to have an armour se tthats all one colour, though I know armor isn't most people's jam..... and I play a lot of darkk souls and i'd be rad to dress up as our characters.

I was actually playing with this exact item earlier and, as somebody with a lot of armour in my wardrobe? I was also frustrated by the fact that none of it seems to match the new helmet. Even a lot of the (almost certainly unobtainable) CWs of armour don't match it, which was very annoying. Ultimately I ended up giving up and was contemplating making a thread like this myself. Glad I'm not the only one feeling like this!

As mentions, we're both big Dark Souls nerds and I was psyched to finally get a helmet like this. Having it not match anything is a major bummer :c

I really like how the bonfire sets off the figure, so I may end up using it again. :)

I'm not familiar with Dark Souls, but there are some armour items I think do work with the helmet. I'm tempted to buy the ones I don't have...

Edit: I wasn't sure about the cloak when trying it in the wardrobe, but seeing it here I wouldn't use it with the rest of this now.

I have all of those armour pieces myself, but sadly (at least on my screen) the helmet has this kind of off-green sort of colour to it while the rest are closer to the blue or plain grey spectrum. Personally I find that too bothersome. I wish the helmet was just the same metallic tones as the other armour on subeta, most of the "steel" armour is consistent colour wise, even older and newer pieces. But as far as I know, nothing matches that specific helmet.

Dark Souls is great, though. and I played through all three of them and they're easily some of the best games around, at least in my opinion.

I can see what you're saying. I'm fine with it, but I can see how it's just off enough to bother someone who likes exact matches on colours.

The cuirass though, that's something I can never find even a close match for which is a shame because it's a beautiful item.

I love armour and weapons, and it saddens me that there is never enough matching stuff on the site. There might be one awesome set of shoulder pauldrons, or some arm greaves, but nothing goes together. I love dressing my HA in "warrior" outfits but the armour options are quite limited. Some of it is also very gemstone-y and not to practical looking.

Maybe we should have an armour theme one month? Recolour some of these items to match more stuff?!

And yeah, I kinda agonized over the color but went with the darker silver cause I thought it looked nice. I was shocked we didn't even have any knight helmets. We need a knight holiday or medieval town or something.

The Rreign Tamer set is super useful. I love the furs and the armour together.

If we had a medieval theme, I hope we'd get mostly armour and less.. dresses etc. We have plenty of those from Alegarten (the peasant kind anyway).

Add it to Fireside. There was a suggestion thread for a renaissance fair and all of this stuff would fit so well with fireside.

After so many years of just dragon collectibles the holiday could use a facelift.

As someone who dresses up in warrior garb more than anything else, I would looove more variety to armors and things of the like.

I, too, am in love with the helmet but have nothing that matches it. That's the battle, usually. Lots of gorgeous armor pieces around the site but they tend not to match anything. :c Adding support for a renaissance theme to add to Fireside!

well I mean, the town WAS being terrorized by a giant dragon. Certainly an errant knight could have wandered through at some point and bit off more than they could chew (or scoffed at the poor townsfolk for being unable to pay for a knight's services.) I personally really like the idea of tying SOMETHING like that into Fireside.

Having to wait a literal year at this point for new armor is kind of the pits, though. hmmm

More weapons and more armour? Ren fair during Fireside? Yes, please. I’m not into dragons, so I look forward to very little during the season.

The tale of the Red Rreign may have evolved over the years, with some details changed or lost. Maybe they've overlooked a key part of whatever's keeping him from lashing out again, but if they aren't careful...

I dunno, I've always thought silver and gold looked fine together. But I agree, we should have a Renaissance fair or something, where we can dress up as they did in medieval times. It'd be way more fun than our usual holiday fare for once. I'd be all for switching up Fireside for a different holiday every other year.

🙏 🙏 🙏 Many users would be all over things like historical Subeta armor & weapon replicas. Like... even the medieval costume trunk never got converted into separate pieces.

And subeta moved away from trunks and is focusing on Delish lines now which... sadly kind of got samey and I def wouldn't mind more costume trunks instead of Delish. Or even alternate them every month.

Also Fireside is... pretty boring now, it could do with a li'l somethingsomething to freshen it up.
