Here's what happened, I just bought a new CW that I had wanted for a while.

I feel so stupid. I'm sick with the flu and just getting over it so my brain is really fuzzy. I must have accidentally clicked donate instead of add to wardrobe and I don't remember there being a warning or anything? I know it's my fault, but I don't know what to do. This item cost real money and I feel like an idiot...

I made a ticket and it was assigned to a member of staff, they're checking in on it. The support I've been given from other people has been amazing and it's definitely made me feel better about my stupid mistake!

Guess what! I have closure, the incredible is the one who found it in the DC. I messaged her when I saw it in her shop, she offered to give it back, but I said no, and then she said no to me saying no. So I have the CW back, but now I have two copies! So I decided I'm going to be paying forward the incredible kind acts I've seen over the passed few days. I need suggestions, though! Do you guys think I should do a giveaway and have the CW as the prize or...?

you should file a ticket and a staff member might be able to help you.

Thank you, I've been refreshing the donation center for almost an hour now too, not sure what else to do besides the ticket and refreshing.

I was also hoping someone who's made a stupid mistake like this would comment too so I know I'm not alone :'(.

normally staff don't intervene in cases of user error but they might be more inclined to help with big-ticket CSC items i.e. CWs.

Yeah, had it been any other item I wouldn't have bothered but since I spent real money on this I'm quite upset and feel really stupid.

Hopefully, the person who nabbed it from the DC will see this thread and offer it back to you. Fingers crossed, I feel for you

I'm just hoping it's not in that place where CWs go until staff brings out the CW Pawn Shop. Which if it did then it's safe but we can't get to it 'til... later.

Do CWs not end up in the donation center? Now that I think of it, I have never seen one there but that could be because no one donates them xD. I don't have a lot of experience with CWs. I mean I have a bit of collection but I'm not that knowledgeable...

I'm not 100% certain, I'm not even 90% certain at that. It's worth looking through regardless.

I've been refreshing for a while, I wish there was some way of either not seeing duplicates or being able to search or something. Over 1000 low-value items that just keep repeating. :(

I guess still no luck, I was refreshing for you as much as I could before I went out, I was hoping to see good news. I suspect after 4.5 hours someone will have found it by now if it was still there :(. I’ll still keep looking for you though.

I mean, at this point if it is in the DC it's probably been taken. I doubt a CW would last that long :(. I might think about posting in the CW forums but I think maybe I should wait for the staff to respond to my ticket, if there's nothing they can do I might go there...

I can verify cws DO end up in the dc. I got 2 from a user who quit a few months back and dumped all their things in. A few other users got other cws donated that day as well. So here's hoping there's some solution that either sees it back or the csc covered
