I've been MIA for about 2 years and with my return I see many items of my battle sets are completely different. some once 'god / legendary' weapons are now weak and new items have taken their place

My main battle pet is Demitre my tier 12 pet tho I do have a tier 7, 6 and 5 I'm training up so I have a few lower tier items in there. I need help knowing what to purge, what to save and what to buy for my 4 battle pets. obviously mostly focusing on my main battle pet and the tier 7 as well. I know some things tier up now with the pet which is confusing so I don't know what items are good or bad even with hovering over them.

I do know i need to save for a Natasha after some research.

Starting from the top, I would get rid of Malice, Sentinel, and the legendaries (Abaddon, Abyss, Acidtongue, Amadeos, Contradiction, Hiryuu, Infinite, Risen, Thornside, Shinigami, Lucent, Icekiss, Balrog, Avarice, Ametsuchi, Aemis, Eternal) because the legendaries are very out of date. You don't need both the Deluxe Death Shard and Siren Harp, so I would choose one and sell the other.

To figure out the rest of what you should purge, I would start by building sets for each tier of your smaller pets (7, 6, 5) using The Weapon Guide, then anything you feel you don't need can be taken out. Usually it's only in the higher tiers (9+) that you need diverse weapons, so hopefully you can build a set for each of your smaller pets that you're happy with and then purge the rest.

That being said, it's okay to have a lot of items in your armory. If you're not 100% sure you can part with something, then keep it. As you battle more, you will know which weapons you use frequently and which you can live without.

Thanks sort of bummed I spent so much on those 'legendary' items when they were new. Makes me hesitant to buy Natasha but i guess things need to change eventually

Curious if any of those tier 1s tier up to any respectable level. and looking at that guild is it only say the best in that tier since I'm sure their are some lower tier items that are amazing in any tier (pheonix quil, soma etc)

- I use the shields and vortex all the time with my T10.

The basic legendaries aren't really deflated, just not used for battle anymore (in fact, I paid way less for my RipTide when it was an essential item).

Shinigami and combos did go down though.

I'd argue the combo legendaries are still the hardest hitting weapons for T7 and they have 4 mod slots. However, they quickly get outclassed at higher tiers so they really are only good for T7.

The T1 shields do indeed scale up with your pet. They will reach max stats at T7. Same with the heart pendant, eternal and rainbow vortex. The vortex is the most useful out of all of them, but it's nice to have scaling weapons for your lower tier pets to have options. You can see a list of common scaling weapons ">here

In the 8 years I have been on the site, legends were NEVER great weapons, they have always been overpriced. However Acidtongue and Infinite are super niche weapons that are great against Cursed Effigy the Tormented.

That being said Natasha is a safe buy unless you want to shell out for wrath of k in the antique shop or if you can find a cheap possessed bow.

CWS and MSOB all have very niche uses as well, but are very overpriced for what they do so people don't usually recommend buying them, but if you have them, I would argue they are basically god weapons in the tier. In tier 6-8 you can beat opponents you can not otherwise beat using those weapons.

RV is one of the best 100% blockers on the site, but 100% blockers are also pretty crappy weapons in general. They only have extremely niche uses.

Everything in your t11-8 section can be sold, except for the sentinel if you really want to use acidtongue/infinite against CETT

Everything in the T7 section except pirate cutlass can probably be sold.

Everything in T6 except RIWoD can be sold. I like the wheels toy better as a low tier freezer than any of the t6 stuff.

Everything in T5 can go except the freeze wand of doom

Everything else T4 and below except for the STS and the stuff I talked about above can be sold. And really I would argue to sell the STS as well, its super niche, and people hang onto it way too fondly. I don't think it often helps win battles.
