I’m a veteran rper who specializes in long-lived, character driven multi–para rps, complete with worldbuilding and a support cast of colourful npcs. Some of my fav roleplays have spanned four years and grown to be 40,000+ words long. Chatting ooc is an absolute blast. I love planning, discussing our characters, and rambling on about things that may or may not come to pass in the actual rp. I’ve met some of my best friends through rp, and I hope we can be friends, too!

It should also be said, up front, that I write diverse characters, all of whom are Queer, and many of whom are trans or gender nonconforming. lgbtq+ culture permeates all my writing and I vibe best with rpers who have similar interests.

I was super excited about everything you were saying until I got to your characters and couldnt think of any ways to fit them with mine >< No worries though! I can figure this out! I'll give it some more thought after work! In the meantime here are some of my regulars, maybe something will spark something for you. Mostbif these have adjacent characters I use less often so if someone KINDA interests you but youre bit vibing with their personality let me know and Ill tell you who else might work.

Jon, straight middle-aged human male, acts as sort of a sheriff to the supernatural community in his city and beyond, upholding whatever unwritten laws govern the sentient beings while hunting down violent feral beasties that might show up. Bad at tech, grouchy and stern but a little mushy inside, comes with 2 normal dogs, and demon dog, and a puppy the size of a horse. Stubborn, tends to approach problems directly, doesn't often socialize outside of work.

Kay, mid-twenties, human lesbian, Jon's protege. She's been cataloguing all the supernatural beings (sentient and non) in her laptop and Jon hates it. Not super brainy but has a very good memory and is pretty strategically minded. If she can solve a problem non-violently she'll take the long way around to avoid bloodshed, but isn't squeamish if it's deserved of unavoidable. Fiercely loyal to friends and family, loves video games, has a dead twin brother who I've been considering bringing into her story as some kind of ghost/spirit/entity but I haven't developed the idea much. His death is a sore spot for her but she won't throw a drama llama emofit over it if it gets brought up.

Michel, genderfluid hedonist demon, thinks they're the shit, super manipulative. Thinks of literally everyone else in the world as expendable playthings. Probably not a great choice to play with unless you have a very specific plot in mind you think they'll fit with.

Lani, early-thirties human-cyborg, bisexual female) though there is an alt-version of her where her artificial parts (arm/shoulder and eye) are magic/mechanical rather than robotic. Treasure hunter and brawler, thrill-seeking adrenaline junkie. Travels the world/universe/multiverse/timestream (depending on which version of her) looking for new places to explore and new challenges to overcome. Brings home artifacts to turn a profit but considers that secondary to the satisfaction of completing a goal. Loud and social, wants to fight (but like, in a friendly way, ya know?)

Sophie, late 20s asexual female, bookworm, inventor. Clumsy, but only a little bit the awkward nerd type - not a social butterfly but not overly shy either. Admittedly bad at small talk, but happy to talk about her work. Works with Lani behind the scenes, researching the artifacts she finds and the locations she explores, has possible invented some kind of teleporter/time machine/interdimensional portal depending on the setting. Has a rabbit, likes exotic coffees and tabletop gaming. Tiny and cute.

Dori, gay human male, early twenties. Former class clown, bit of a manchild, loves to eat terrible food. Lovable goofball, frequently injures himself doing stupid shit for laughs. No discernable career path, probably doing something like ubereats for money. Musically talented but hides it well. Collects the neighborhood street cats.

I have a modern fantasy/supernatural headworld losely inspired by Men In Black and Secure. Contain. Protect. featuring an agency that legislates and polices the supernatural community. One of those settings where myths exist irl alongside our muggle world, we just don’t see it often. I actually have lots of characters who fit into those settings, too— most of them are just older or haven’t been worked on as much. Plus, I’m always capable of making new characters. It’ll just take me a li’l longer to get into the groove of writing someone new.

but I have about 14 characters who exist in that world already, who just need fleshing out. lots of them are witches/magick users that work great with other supernatural or occult themed characters.

I have several demon + angel characters too. they’re extremely irreverent and blasphemous but if you like that genre then you’d probably like them, too.

hmm. I’m leaning towards doing something with Jon, Kay & Co? that might be the easiest way to throw various fantasy characters together in the same boat, and it gives us freedom to use multiples if you’d like. I’ll have to write up some quick info on my other characters for that setting. but let me know what you think first! :)

very interested in one on one rp if it involves queer themes (being genderfluid and ace-biromantic myself). i also like including them being mentally ill—not in a gross fetishy way, more in a 'tired of not seeing any mentally ill characters in my media'—or neurodivergent. though i don't expect you to change your own characters if they aren't!

admittedly, i do play mostly canon characters (with some originals in the mix), but i can easily adjust them for original universes, and i don't mind bouncing them off original characters. never fully understood why some people balk at that, but to each their own.

Hey there, I've been looking for a vampire rp for a while. I had read some of the vampire chronicles and that world is mostly what I base my vampires off of. It's been a while since I've read any of the books, though, but I have plenty of original characters. I work a lot, I have two jobs so I don't mind how slow posting is between us. It's also been a while since I have had an actual role-play so, I'm ind of dry as far as original plots go. But I don't mind pitching ideas until we both find something that we can enjoy. Most of my characters are Male, and most of them lean more toward the villainous side. I don't mind bringing in multiple characters.
