OK, I was wondering how do people prefer TCs to be arranged? By color, name, item type? no order at all?

a couple of my pets have their TCs arranged by color. But now I'm thinking that if I arranged by item type, it would be easier for me to keep track of what's missing... ? as well as helping others who want a similar TC for their pet.

examples: Crapping has the TC arranged by item type, while Merkado by color. Dwane's TC is arranged based on how much I like the art of the item >.>

I love, love arranging by colour. If I need to check if I'm missing an item, I usually just use account search. Sometimes I restrict the colour scheme to a strict few colours, to keep the TC more balanced.

It depends on the pet. My pet who collects toy making instructions has them arraigned alphabetically. My Voodoo shop keeper has them arraigned by type; voodoo dolls, voodoo doll pins, sorcery books, potions, spell ingredients, etc.

whoa! those 2 are amazing! and their TCs too <3 _ <3 /secretly plans on stealing your skills/ LOL, JK ooh, account search! gotcha! i'm lazy i guess, or i didn't think of it ;p arranging alphabetically sounds good too!

sometimes i'll organize items by type (e.g. animals, then shells, then drinks, etc) or in specific patterns (like frosix's treasure). often i'll either leave them in a mostly random arrangement that looks "right" to me.

my favorite method lately, though, has definitely been organizing by color - except sometimes i have trouble figuring out what order to put colors in (black to purple to blue? black to purple to red? black to gray to white?) and where to place items that could ostensibly fit in more than one color range (e.g. "this thing is kind of orange, but it wouldn't look out of place with the brown, and this one has green AND purple in it!")

I used to be super big on organization by type (like the character's most important possessions, then their clothes, favorite foods, etc.), but these days I am REALLY into the aesthetics of "randomly" arranged treasure chests. As in, I spend a lot of time organizing treasure chests to look disorganized in just the right way. Like Florrian's treasure, for example! Or Sabriel's treasure, which I literally spent 15-20 minutes organizing into perfect disorganization. (shrugs)

it really depends on the pet for me tbh!! like for ruu i started off with more "normal" items and then moved towards more violent stuff so i guess it has more of a "story" feel to it??

marcellin and kafka are my two aesthetic tc's and they're organised kinda by colour but also randomly depending on what i think looks nice |D

and then i've got a couple like andrzej which is just stuff he owns, and i sorted it by what looked good haha

I've arranged mine by type sometimes. I tend to just haphazardly stick them in the treasure and then forget about them most of the time.

I arrange mine either in the style of art is fitting, color and story wise :) (Which reminds me I have to sort out Bucky's TC).

I tend to do mine by putting colors/items next to one another that are complimentary color or looks- wise. And I'll usually put my favorite items/more expensive ones towards the top. I also tend to do this thing where the colors not only have to be complimentary but also included in the item next to it. So a pink/blue item only next to something with another one of those colors and so on. (Compels tc) And for some like Floran I'll come up with my own system. (I could never do random lol!) Like for his it's all gems/crystal stuff so it's arranged by type and colors, lightest to darkest, gems to minion, through every color. xD Idk.. i can spend forever picking apart my tcs until they're 'perfect' to me. But i'm sure they're not special 'looking' since it's all my own opinion of what i think looks good haha.

Personally, I loveeeee TCs arranged by color! They're just so aesthetically pleasing and I love how the colors of items gradate into each other.. super pretty! I feel like this works especially well for larger TCs. In the past I used to throw items in all willy-nilly (some of my older pets' TCs still reflect that lol) but now I almost always organize them by color. It's actually really fun!

I love color coordinated TCs too c: I usually start my TCs off with color, but then I'll go into shape and theme as kind of sub-sections shape is a big one to me because I can get really particular about too many of the same looking things sitting next to each other lol I use a lot of flowers in TCs, so I can't have two long and slender flowers next to each other, for example, and I'll have to move one of them a couple of spots away :P In the same respect, I don't like items with the same angle sitting next to each other either, and try to oppose diagonals in items so that it balances out Beryline is probably the best example I have to demonstrate how I try to order my TCs

omg i do the same thing wrt items with similar shapes/angles/compositions! also beryline's profile and tc is adorable...

My favorites are probably Martina and Bloom :`)

For Sistine, since the character is revealed later in the story to be a big softy, her treasure at first glance is a bunch of torture items, but then when you scroll it's plushies/cute stuff etc.

Click the dropdown menu next to your pet and click Treasure, it takes you to a page where you can rearrange the items c: Depending on how many items you have on the pet, it's either click and drag arranging or clicking the item and then clicking the place, if there's a lot of them.
