:nods: Most things you can work with, but you cant change the location or the layout too much. :) There are more than few studio flats here a well, and super small apartments. Its a very expensive city to rent or buy something for sure. >_< Not quite as bad as Oslo, but not too far off. lol

Cleaned bathroom today.. so the place looks nice now at least. Mum and grandma is coming over tomorrow. so its always good that the place looks clean and tidy. lol

sounds much like the prices around here - that'd be about £200,000 if you want to buy a one bedroom flat, or £750 a month to rent a studio flat o.O

hehe it works perfectly :) I'm reluctant to let her have a bird (she can't be too much like me :P), but I think maybe she ought to have a look at another pet at least ;)

the other side of the city is a bit cheaper (still can get some great views, just not classed as a "nice" area in places - but then neither are some parts over this side :P), but that's still about £180,000 for a one bedroom flat :K What we need is for the prices to drop considerably :P

hehe Niamh was wondering about the Fwooper :P or maybe RP-Paddy should look at those Nifflers (although I'm struggling to find a wearable critter that looks like a Niffler....)

Yeah, I'm okay. =) I probably would have been okay anyway, since the booster is supposed to be good for 10 years, but they tell you to do an update with an injury like that if it has been more than 5 since your last one. Last time I had to have one because I was bitten by a squirrel. xD That's a fun story... Ooo yay, fwoopers! I keep wanting to say "she" out of habit because of the pink. xD Males end up having a bright blue stripe above the cere, females have a very faint or non-existent stripe. I forgot to tell you we saw English budgies at the bird shop. :D They are so much bigger and fluffier than the budgies we normally get. xD

English budgies are huge aren't they! ;) When Sparky sits on his swing and really fluffs out his feathers, he's actually taller than the space the swing allows for (he leans back so he can sit there and chew the clip holding the swing onto the cage bars o.O :P)

Do you have a good view from your house? :) The prices sounds wayy similar to what I have to pay up for a one bedroom flat. I have seen a couple with two bedrooms. The prices has gone up ridicilously much the last 10-20 years. o-o

so I went to petsmart to get cat litter and wound up getting a beta fish. They said that the female beta would be fine in my tank. Well apparently she was fine--the other fish didn't like her though and one attacked her. So had to run to walmart and buy a goldfish bowl for her. --Petsmart had said it'd be fine- so okay good. So, I went to find out how often to change the water for new fish's bowl and its like every 2-3 DAYS. Not only can I not physically manage it, but seriously the water and dechlorine price would be outrageous o.0. I also discovered she really needs a heater, as she prefers temperatures of 75-80 F in water... so I didn't sleep stressing over what to do. I have a 5 gallon tank, which is apparently the better size, but can't find the filter and would still need a heater so looking at a bare minimum of $25. If I take her back I'm still out of the pet and possibly the money we spent on the bowl. and a financial strain if I don't. I went to pet smart and he gave me my gravel for $3 and my heater for 50% off so I was able to afford it. Gotta wait 30 mins before I can turn the heater on. but she's now in the bigger tank on my nightstand. and I finally got 1 hour of sleep.

yep, we get a great view from our house, although the trees have grown since the house was built, so some of the view is a bit blocked out ;) We get to see fields though, which is much better than seeing a load of other houses ;) Do you think you'd want a two-bed one, so you've got a bit of extra space, or would that be way too pricey?

hehe she was meant to be in the book part of the store still laughs but I couldn't make it look less like a house :P Did you spot her Niffler as well? (I cheated and used the mole :P)
