I'm trying to work on the Charitable Achievement, so I'm wondering what are the cheapest food item(s) that are being sold in the main shops and/or user shops. Any suggestions or advice would be helpful and appreciated! :)
(Sorry for being clueless about this! I've recently regained interest in Subeta after several years of being nearly inactive, so I'm very unaware of current prices for many, many items nowadays. 😅 )
Most foods sold in the user shops are more expensive than what you can buy them for in the official NPC shops.
I would just recommend buying stuff from the shops in the Food section on that page, quite a few of them sell stuff at around ~500 sP or less (Carnival Stand, Half Baked, Rathskeller Inn, The Bake Stop, and The Lost Skeleton all sell cheap foods).
if you want to do this with maximum cheapness, wait until Morostide. Pumpkins are floating around, and they are food. Trick or Treating and Pumpkin Patching also result in extra food.
In the meanwhile, do quests. Quests don't specifically give out food, but they do give out many cheaply items that you essentially got for free for doing the quest. If some of those are food, donate them in to Charity.
You can fish in the underground every three minutes. It costs nothing. Mostly you will get edible fish, the occasional apple, sometimes you will get nothing and a few non-food items (which can be fragged). Cheapest food available - it only costs time.

Thank you all for the helpful suggestions! ^_^ I'll do a combination of them as I slowly work my way up that achievement ladder then.
Thanks again! :)
If you want to simultaneously work on the vending achievement, you might consider using the carnival vending machine, too.

Oh! I never thought about that. That's a great idea, too! Thanks for the advice! :)
