SUP, MY PALS.

Unfortunately, I was called into work at the museum I work at today (a day I generally don’t work!) and wasn’t able to get my super cool plan done for today. I’ve done a few minor updates around site to pages and items that you guys have submitted using this form, though!

I am going to let you guys know some cool projects I’m working on because I’ve seen a lot of people suggest edits/updates/etc to a few places, and want you all to know stuff is being worked on!

• FRAGGING: and I will have some updates this weekend for how many crystals you get from various rarities. We’ll make sure to lay it out in the news post so everyone is on the same page. :) The idea going into these changes is that we want people to actually want to frag the low rarity items they get from vending/quests/etc. We’re always open to suggestions on how to improve things, so if you happen to have a suggestion to improve vending/fragging/etc, let us know. We will ignore “raise the rarity limit” on vending posts tho :p

• PET ZAPPER: I was going to originally do this today, but with me having work and an issue with how we push things to the main site happening, I didn’t get to it. But it’ll def be knocked out this weekend and ready to go for next Thursday! Some users suggestions will be implemented (reordering of boxes on the page! Showing your pet on the drop down list! gender being zapped again!).

• ITEM USE MENU PAGE THING: You know when you’re in your inventory and click an item to say move it to your wardrobe or a pet treasure? That page is ugly. And not exactly user friendly. and I are working on making it better on all fronts! This is a thing we’re constantly working on this month and I’m hoping we get it out before October ends. Some users have been super nice and suggested in the past (with mock-ups!) what they’d ideally like to see. Right now, we both realize it’s very tedious to find a specific pet to feed an item to (or whatever you want to do) when you have so many pets or whatever. When the updates go live, we’ll have a separate thread about it so people can post feedback etc. <3

Hello everyone! I'm back this week with a small smattering of updates because I've been SUPER BUSY working on behind-the-scenes stuff, including some much larger projects. For instance, I've been working on an improved sCode filter (that will make your posts look a lot nicer too), ongoing wardrobe updates/fixes, as well as a new item vault! I'm really excited about these projects, but my Thursday updates might get shorter as I focus more on bringing those to completion.

Anyway, here's what I've got for you this week:

:dmg:light: MORE SMALL FIXES Item images have been changed to item hovers on the following pages: Free Gift, Leviathan Harpooning, and Seashell Spotter. Various broken URLs were fixed around the site, including the image in the gift center that shows when you choose a random gift box. User comments and P2P comments have been modified to show the correct title of the page. (It was previously always your username, even if it wasn't your comments.)

:dmg:light: PET TRAINING: CANCEL BUTTON Do you ever put your pet into training for the wrong stat, and wish you could undo it? Well, now you can, with the handy new Cancel button found underneath each active training session. Please note however that it will NOT refund you what you paid for the session. This button does have a confirmation prompt, so no need to worry about accidental clicks.

:dmg:light: ACCIDENTALLY DELETE YOUR GROUPS NO MORE A confirmation prompt has been added to the Forum Group Delete button. No more accidentally deleting your groups, yay!

:dmg:light: BATTLE STATISTICS REVAMP This was already announced, but I'm mentioning it again for good measure: The Battle Statistics page has gotten a facelift and should be much faster and easier to use! This update has its own topic here: Battle UI Changes, Part 2: STATS Please go to that topic if you want to say anything about it, and please do skim through the admin posts on that thread at the least if you are going to make a suggestion - There have been several ideas already discussed and given responses.

:dmg:light: PET FRIENDS REVAMP There is a new Pet Friends page that should be much more pleasing to look at than the old interface. You can still add and remove friends on this page, but you can now edit their descriptions as well. Before you ask, we are planning to add the ability to re-order them as well, but this will be a while yet as it requires a major database update to make it possible.
