Why is this suddenly a thing? It seems unnecessary and a waste of used sP to me.

it's not really either of those things? it's something that's been requested for a while. Remove pet from training early it's good for people who are working on specific stat builds (saves having to buy stat leeches) and people who just want to raise strength and level for jobs (saves time). i know i would've loved to have this when i was training mephilia, i ended up buying something like fifteen leeches to fix her stats. being able to cancel sessions would've saved me lots of battle shop tokens and time p:

and for anyone worried about misclicking and wasting a really long training session, there's a pop-up - "Are you sure you want to cancel this training session? The cost of the session will NOT be refunded!"

I wished this feature was available long ago. I can't remember how many times I ended up putting my pets in the next training bracket because I trained level by accident xD

And thank you for implementing this.

Because quality-of-life changes are a good thing! :)

People misclick and make mistakes sometimes, it's bound to be useful for somebody and it's not harming anything.

Training isn't expensive, so it's not a big loss even if I accidentally cancel a session for my T13 pet. Which isn't likely to happen, because as said, the "cancel training session" link has a confirmation popup.

Why would you ever want to cancel a training? This is just a button to accidentally click on :(

If anyone wants custom css to remove this:

.btn.btn-link[value='Cancel Training Session']{ display : none;}

On one hand, this would have been nice when I accidentally put Creator Destroyer into training. On the other, I wouldn't have been motivated to train her and she wouldn't be tier 11 (omg when did she hit that tier?)

It'll be handy though if I accidentally place a zapper pet. Been there, done that.

Oh yes, that's right. The zapper and job agency has been a source of unwanted levels haha :D

Edit: And then I forget about them and train level by accident.

Being able to cancel training was a popular request because sometimes people would train the wrong pet or, more commonly, would train the wrong stat accidentally. It's better to have a way to cancel than no way at all in the case of a mistake. There's no need to worry about accidentally clicking, because if you do, you can simply click "Cancel" on the pop-up confirmation that comes up.

Anyone else with questions like these though, I think already said it all in the second post on this topic :) This option actually can save people a lot of time and sP because if you accidentally train a stat, it saves you the need to wait out the accidental session(s) and then buy leeches to delete the extra stats. Or, a more common case would be accidentally training level before the other stats are done, since a higher level means the training costs more.

I don't understand it because I train all of my pets like a crazy person. There are no bad stats as far as I'm concerned!(With the only exception being a pet close to capping) I also cringe at the thought of leeching stats away from any of my pets. I worked to hard for all of my stats to ever want to get rid of any of them! :) I greatly appreciate all of the attention and improvements the battle community has been given lately! I'm also excited to see you getting very involved with battling!

i was literally just thinking about this the other day and only noticed it just now! i always use exp to boost frosix's level when he needs it (because level costs less exp than any other stat and is therefore the most efficient thing to use exp on) but sometimes i accidentally train level, which means having to wait FOUR HOURS for him to finish up - four hours i could have spent training an actual useful stat, if only i could cancel the session. but now i can if that ever happens again (which it will because i am unobservant and click-happy).

sometimes people want a pet to have a particular number for their stats, whether it be for fun (420, 1337, etc) or for the satisfaction of a nice perfect number (1000, 5000, etc) or a number relevant to the pet's story/personality. there are other reasons to want to keep stats at a particular level, too, i guess, but that's the main one that comes to mind.

If you set an alert and then cancel the session, you still get an alert at the originally scheduled time. I wonder if that could be fixed, or if it's too much trouble?

Anyway, I'm happy with this change. I'm only training my main battle pet in strength, but I frequently slip up and put him in for defense. This'll save a lot of wasted time.

I'm actually really glad this was added! I could really have used it just a couple days ago when I accidentally put my newest pet in speed training. And I've done that like five or six times since I started training him so I get the feeling I'll be using it a lot.

Looking to buy this!

I'm glad this was created for the people that asked for it! It's just not something that I have ever even thought that I wished we had. I'm a battler and I train like crazy(I have 10 T13 pets, 7 T12 pets, 4 T11 pets, and my two babies are T9 and T7). I think every stat is important so I have no plans for crazy builds where I don't train a stat.
If I was trying for an exact number in one particular stat, I wouldn't use the training center since it gives 1-3 stats per session. I would use EXP or boosters to get to that exact number. (But that is also something I would never consider because I do jobs every day that can give stats :P)

Anyway, I'm glad things are getting done that people are asking for! I already have it blocked with custom CSS so this doesn't affect me at all any more :)

I'm glad this was implemented! Now maybe I can stop using the defense leeches on Rahne every time I accidentally put her in defense training when I'm just autoclicking to put all my pets in as fast as possible.

I like the meta idea behind this feature. A ^&*&^ automatic pop-up confirmation on all features affects everybody not just the forgetful and makes extra clickage for every damn thing no matter how intentionally you play. Everybody suffers for the careless few.

Instead the feature like this one which is an undo, cancellation like this only affects those who have already made the mistake and care about it. All the rest of us can ignore it. I could get behind cancellation buttons for other site features for which pop-ups have been Suggested.

Usually a cancellation wouldn't work, because it's something like disowning a pet or purchasing an item. Once it's done, it's too late to go back. I can't think of many situations where a cancellation would actually be appropriate.
